The meeting started at 8:45 AM. A prayer was led by the adviser, Mr. Leo C. Lascuna Jr. After it,
the Agenda of the Meeting was presented. He then explained the Deped Order No. 13 series of 2013 which
was about the School PTA Organization. There were no questions after it, so next was the Election of
Homeroom PTA officials. The following were the newly-elected officers of Grade 9 Santos:
President: Lyndon H. Mas
Vice President: Zenaida Rosales
Secretary: Alona Ceniza
Treasurer: Nedelyn Celeres
Auditor: Ana Josie Malaran

After the election, the Constitution and by Laws of SSG was briefly discussed which highlights that SSG
can construct laws and impose it to the students. Next was the presentation of the school rules, policies
and regulations. The adviser explained the following rules for male and female:
MALE
Prescribed haircut
No wearing of earrings
No Blonde hair
No wearing of tattered clothes
Prohibition of tattoo
FEMALE
No wearing of more than 1 pair of earrings
No blonde hair
No wearing of tattered clothes
No wearing of seductive clothes
Prohibition of tattoo
There was no objections or questions regarding the policies so the Deped Policies was then
presented briefly. Its main point was that the School Principal can suspend any student who violates any of
the stated policies. After that, the School Official Time was explained. The adviser emphasized that the 2
hours TVE time and added mandatory subjects were the reasons why classes started early and ended late
in the afternoon. He also presented the Grading System and explained each component. Next, the adviser
presented to the parents the idea of wearing prescribed uniform and ID of students. He explained the
advantages of having uniform and ID, as well as disadvantages. With that, Mrs. Anggit raised a motion
supporting the idea and was also supported by majority of the parents through voting. It was also the same
with the ID.
The next part was focused on the classroom. First, the adviser presented the classroom policies
which are no using of cellphone during class hours except when required by the subject, no bullying,
bringing of own water bottle, wearing of face mask and if possible, bringing of own alcohol. Next, the
adviser presented the classroom concerns which were ventilation, classroom maintenance and potable
water. To answer the concerns, the newly elected Homeroom PTA President presided on what they can do.
For the ventilation, they set a target of 4 wall fans to be put up. 2 parents, Mrs. Malaran and Mrs. Suliva
promised to donate 1 fan each but will be available on December. With that, they agreed to contribute Php

100 for each parent to purchase the remaining 2 fans. A total of 25 parents immediately paid to the
treasurer while the rest promised to contribute the coming week. The president was also tasked canvass
the price the fan. For the potable water, Mrs. Nazario promised to donate a dispenser and 1 container, and
Mrs. Dela Cruz also added 2 more containers. For classroom maintenance and for water refill, the
remaining funds from the fans will be utilized.
For the last part, the subject requirements were presented. The adviser also promised to post all the
requirements in the GC so that parents need not to copy anymore. After that, other business were
supposed to be tackled but since the parents had no other concerns, so the meeting was adjourned at
10:15 am.
