We can supply a complete turn key solution. with the foaming plant, chemical tank farm and foam cutting machine with associated integrated electrical controls. The company has vast experience in the manufacture of all types of polyurethane foam, including standard Polyether foams, HR foams, Visco / Memory foams, Fire Retardant foams, Filled foams, CME and CMHR foams as well as Rigid and Semi Rigid black foams and Polyester foams. Cannon Viking History Cannon Viking was initially formed as Viking Engineering in 1956. Since this date the company has been heavily involved and integral part of the development and the evolution of the polyurethane foam industry worldwide. Our name is synonymous with high quality, efficient, and modern machinery and we continue to produce machinery of the highest standard today at our factory in Manchester, UK. in 1989 Viking became part of the Cannon group, the worlds leaders in polyurethane processing technologies. As pioneers in the industry with the very latest development such as: CarDio™ Carbon Dioxide Technology for low density foams, Omega computerised control and monitoring equipment and High Pressure Liquid Laydown and Maxtoam technology, all of which have been developed and supported in house. Cannon Viking continue to evolve and develop to stay ahead in the support of all our customers. We have been at the forefront of all major industry developments over the past 50 years and we are determined to offer our many customers around the world the best product range currently available. Cannon Viking Maxfoam Equipment is in operation in more than 500 companies worldwide for making continuous flexible blocks and is accepted as the most efficient and economical way to produce continuous rectangular flexible foam blocks. With the Maxfoam process, the individually metered polyurethane chemicals are first mixed together ina variable speed mechanical mixing head, then fed directly into a metal trough expansion device] where the chemical reaction takes place. The rising and expanding foam then passes from the top of the trough on to a variable width Maxfoam fallplate unit, which then leads the expanding foam block onto and along a metal slat, horizontal conveyor for the completion of the foam rise and the initial cure. The Maxfoam machine tunnel is lined with kraft paper to handle and support the transportation of the reacting foam block. Itis this method of precise chemical mixing, precision chemical metering and accurate controlled chemical distribution, as well as Maxfoam fallplate technology, which gives the key benefits and advantages with Cannon Viking’s Maxfoam Equipment. The foam blocks produced on Cannon Viking machines are rectangular in shape with low skin on the sides and can be further improved in quality with the addition of the Silicone Air Mixer which gives a finer and more regular cell structure with less pin holes. Maxfoam Omega 800 with LLM Liquid Laydown and Planiblock Liquid Laydown Maxfoam (LLM) Process Maxfoam and L.L.M process The range of Cannon Viking Maxfoam Plants are also available with Liquid Laydown [LLM] to give an even higher quality of foam block with less. pinhole and air bubbles. Liquid Laydown [LLM] equipment is used to allow the air bubbles to escape from the reacting foam chemicals at point of foam laydown leading to less pinhole formation and less air bubbles in the foam which can be an advantage for foam producers who manufacture foam for high quality applications. Cannon Viking Maxfoam Elite and C-Max Plants also offer Partial or Full High Pressure Metering Units for the optimum quality of foam block available as well as Liquid Laydown (LLM) and Maxfoam Trough Production Processes. The Maxfoam Elite and C-Max Plants are custom made to suit each individual client and market requirement. eee aE mlb We deliver: Optimum chemical conversion into foam - saving expensive raw materials Flat top, rectangular shaped foam blocks Less skin formation with less waste Less foam density variation throughout every foam block for product consistency Variable width foam blocks between 1.3 meters and 2.5 meters Simple, yet highly accurate production technology Reduced labour requirement Reduced power requirement High foam quality repeatedly achieved due to precision metering pumps and superior mixing. Two side films are pulled in height during the foam expansion phase to lift the block sides during foam formation-this makes the block flatter and squarer. The equipment consists of two pairs of RS pulling rollers, each driven by a variable speed drive motor. These rollers are motorised in adjustment The pulling rolls can be tilted forward and backward by means of a drive motor, which is controlled automatically by a set of air sensors. The principle of the improved block shape is based on a further reduction of the friction between the rising foam and the horizontally moving side-paper/film ‘The OMEGA Control and Monitoring System ‘The OMEGA Control and Monitoring System is available as an option on all Cannon Viking Maxfoam Plants, This ‘state of the art’ system has been developed and is fully supported by Cannon Viking’s Contral Department and is in operation on more than 100 Cannon Viking foam plants running worldwide. The OMEGA system provides Full Formulation Management, Automatic control of chemical metering, and valuable historical process information. The entire plant is controlled and monitored through a compact control terminal with industrial touch screen purpose built for the foarning process, icone Air Mixer Cannon Viking introduced this development to further improve flexible foam cell structure and reduce pin holes on standard Low Pressure Maxfoam plants. This equipment which is already in successful CarDio™ Technology operation with many existing clients in Asia, Europe, CarDio™is a patented process the The Middle East and South America utilises a special, Cannon Group and Cannon Viking patented Cannon pre mixer for better mixing of developed for producing low density nucleation air and silicone prior to feeding into the polyurethane foams using liquid Maxfoam mixing head of the continuous foaming plant. carbon dioxide as the blowing agent. Planiblock and Top Film Systems Cannon Viking has been supplying additional equipment to further improve foam block profiles on Conventional, Maxfoam and Liquid Laydown equipment for many years and can offer varying solutions for further improving the flatness and Square shape of the foam blocks.
