The bar chart compares the number of teachers based on their gender.

In addition,
it displays the percentage in six different types of educational levels across the
UK during 2010. In 2010, the number of female teachers has decreased dramatically
from pre-school to university level. The pre-school level taught by almost 100%
female educators, however, the number significantly dropped to nearly 30% in the
university level. There was a sharp decrease in female educator number between the
primary and the secondary level. The number continued to gradually decreased until
the university level. At the same period, in contrast, the number of male teachers
has increased substantially on each level of education. The number has risen by
almost 50% from the primary to the secondary level. The percentage of male
educators peaked at the university level at 70%. Only in college level, the amount
of female and male teacher is the same, nearly 50% respectively. Based on the data,
it can be concluded that the percentage of female educators are decreasing on every
level of education, while the percentage of male educators are increasing.
