Expected output: Able to apply and demonstrate their understanding in solving the average
rate and speed.
Instructions:

1. The class will be divided into a group consisting 4-5 members.

2. You will create your own DIY toy car. You have the freedom to choose what materials
you are going to use. I’m encouraging you to make this out of recyclable materials as
much as possible.
3. You are given a day to create and design your DIY toy car. Make sure to condition it
to run.
4. So, the next day, you have to present how to calculate the average rate and speed by
demonstrating it using your DIY toy car. You can use the measuring tape and
stopwatch to measure the distance and time.
5. Use meter as the unit for distance and seconds for time.
6. Every group is given 15 minutes to demonstrate their output.
