Project Objectives
General Objectives:
To design and develop a system that is capable and has the potential to replace the current way of recording
the information such as attendance, employee information, payroll etc.
Specific Objectives:
1. To collect, store, manipulate, analyze, retrieved, and distribute information from internal and external
environment.
2. To ensure the availability of competent and willing workforce to the organization as well as to meet the needs
of individuals/employees.
3. To produce a greater number of varieties of accurate and real-time human-resource-related reports.
Scope:
• Log in- Log out. Users can log in and out of their accounts, and the system provides tools for
authentication and authorization that distinguis admin from regular users.
• User management- To enable administrators to grant access and manage user access and control
user accounts.
• Automation. Expedition of recurring tasks through automation.
• Scheduling benefits. Scheduling optimization with an emphasis on compliance and immediate
distribution to employees.
• Resume parsing. The ability to quickly apply higher selection standards to a number of
applications.
• Reports and analytics. Ability to make more informed decisions in real-time by using analytics
and integration of organizational data.
• Time in. Time tracking and to calculate the time period required to work.
• Payroll. To organize all the tasks of employee payment and tax filing. These tasks include keeping
track of hours, calculating wages, tracking attendance, withholding taxes and deductions, printing
and delivering checks, completing direct deposits, paying premiums to insurance carriers, and/or
paying employment taxes to the government.
Limitations:
• No hardware integration
• Human error during employee information input
• Unauthorized access
• Data security
• Overestimating statistics
• Cost of investments
