Joined the Teams Call 20 mins early and waited for Capt. Bates.
He joined the call at sharp 0900 am and asked me if I was aware of the new exam syllabus and I instantly
quoted the MIN number and he was pretty impressed to start off.
He asked me what type of vessels I have served on and I told him I have been sailing on tankers.

Trust when I say, Capt Bates is a very fair examiner and he just needs your experience and common sense to
play a part in your answer and nothing theoretical.

Big Shout out to ONBOARD MARITIME’S team of Angus Ferguson and Sanket Mahajan who strived their
best to ensure I had all the information required and explained / covered every topic needed for the syllabus
and cleared every doubt whenever needed round the clock.
I would highly recommend them for your Oral preps.

BEST OF LUCK GUYS
