Aurelio Arturo Martínez was a Colombian writer,
poet, and journalist born in 1916 in Santo Domingo,
Antioquia, and passed away in 1974 in Bogotá.

Aurelio Arturo spent his childhood in Pasto, Nariño,

where he developed a deep connection with the city
and its surroundings. He often drew inspiration from
the landscape, the people, and the traditions of the
region, which are reflected in his works.
