Introduction
rated law school with professors and the best library. As an educated law student, I am thrilled to
apply to join the University to pursue law. Despite facing challenges in my academic life, such as
attaining a low GPA, I have the drive, passion, and enough skills to excel in the J.D. program at
the University.
My incentive to pursue a J.D. program at the University of Minnesota Law School stems
from the fact that it is one of the most highly-rated law schools in the country. I am particularly
interested in the school's fully-equipped world-class library and its commitment to excellence.
With these resources, I am confident the University will provide me with the tools and
knowledge needed to succeed as a law student and become a successful future attorney. As a
current student of law, I have an opportunity to experience firsthand the quality and rigor of
Overcoming Challenges
Although my cumulative GPA is low and my A-letter grades show I got a perfect 2.9, I
proud of these grades as they showcase my passion, drive, and commitment to overcoming
adversities that come with the rigorous nature of the program. Throughout my time at the
University, I have worked tirelessly to achieve academic excellence. When I join the J.D.
knowledge in contract law to help Americans navigate challenges and legal complexities that
will ensure they are rightly protected by the law (Stremersch et al., 2021, p. 15). I am studying
law because I am passionate about contract law and its vital role in protecting the transactions of
Americans. I desire to help people to understand contract law better. By pursuing the J.D. degree
at the University of Minnesota Law School, I am confident that I will get a platform to assist
victims in understanding whether an enforced contract was formed and performed and the
the broader American society by publishing a law-related book on voting in federal elections. I
believe that the book will serve as an effective tool for democracy and will help immigrants and
other Americans understand the electoral laws and dynamics (Stremersch et al., 2021, p. 18). My
legal writing and research opportunities and doing on a law journal reserved only for J.D.
students will provide me with a platform to further develop my communication abilities and
writing skills.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I believe that my passion for the field of law, my academic performance
thus so far, my desire to contribute to the broad American society, and my commitment to having
a clear mind and achieving a healthy work-life balance make me an ideal candidate for
admission to the J.D. program at the University of Minnesota Law School. I look forward to the
opportunity to continue my legal education at the University and contribute to its tradition of
excellence.
