ABSTRACT

An autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) is a specialized robot designed to operate


underwater without direct human intervention. Equipped with a range of sensors,
navigation systems, and onboard computers, AUVs are capable of collecting data,
conducting surveys, and performing various tasks in marine environments. These vehicles
can be programmed to follow pre-defined paths, carry out specific missions, or operate
autonomously based on real-time environmental feedback. AUVs are commonly used in
scientific research, underwater exploration, marine resource management, and underwater
inspections. They offer numerous advantages, including the ability to operate in remote and
hazardous areas, collect high-resolution data, and conduct long-duration missions, making
them invaluable tools for understanding and exploring the underwater world
