Basic Sweet Rolls

Ingredients:
2 ½ cups Water
¼ cup Butter Flavored Crisco
¼ cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon Salt
2 packages Dry Yeast
6 ½ cups Flour

1. In Large Bowl put:


2 cups boiling water
¼ cup Butter Flavored Crisco
¼ cup Sugar
1 tablespoon Salt

2. Let cool to lukewarm and the sugar and salt are dissolved.

3. After this cools down mix 2 packages dry yeast in ½ cup of lukewarm water.

4. Mix all liquids together then put in 2 slightly beaten eggs.

5. 6 to 6 ½ cups flour – Stir in flour a little at a time.

6. Mix until a soft ball forms and cleans the bowl.

7. Knead on board until shiny about 10 minutes.

8. Then put in large bowl with just enough oil to roll dough in so it won’t stick to bowl.

9. Cover and put in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

10. Make out as many rolls as you want. (2 inch’s?)

11. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.

12. Bake at 425 degrees for about 20 minutes or until a golden brown.

** DO NOT ROLL OUT ON FLOUR

** Keep rest of dough in refrigerator and keep covered – keep in fridge for 3 to 4 days

** Don’t use all the flour if you don’t have to
