Vocabulary (3 mins)

Role-play the dialog with your teacher twice, and learn the highlighted expressions by heart.

Fiona: So, were you successful in buying tickets online for the Jay Chou’s concert?
Charlie: Not yet. Online ticket sales begin in ten minutes. But I’ve got my credit card ready.
I just hope we’ll be able to get front-row seats this time.
Patrick : I’ll be glad if we get tickets at all. Jay Chou’s concerts usually sell out within minutes.
Steve: That’s true. By the way, I heard he always has really wonderful special guests in his
shows.
Patrick : Yes. I wonder who’ll be his special guest this time.
Steve: I don’t know, but I’m sure it’ll be someone really good.
TI: Take turns to play both characters. Emphasize and repeat the highlighted expressions.
