    Inhibitory factor

    Two different gene pairs are involved.


    First pair is responsible for different expressions of the
    trait under study at dominant and recessive state.
    Second factor has no expression but when appears in
    dominant state with dominant first factor then inhibits
    the expression of first factor
    It modifies the 9:3:3:1 ratio
    into
    13:3
    A cross between Green and purple (Nageshwari) rice produces

    all the F1 with Green colour

    but in F2
    Green and purple coloured rice again appeared

    In 13:3 ratio
    Two non allelic genes P and I are involved
