WARNING!
Risk of electric shock
Before turning RF power on, RF ports have to be terminated by nominal 50 Ω load (for example, feeder with antenna).
However, if these conditions are not met, the plastic caps that are delivered within the unused RF ports should remain in
place. The plastic caps isolate RF port from the environment, and thus provide electric shock security in case RF power is
accidentally on.
Antenna Line Devices (ALDs) support
Table: AWHQE ALD support
Property Value
Voltage 24 V
Electrical specifications
Table: AWHQE electrical specifications
Property Value
–57 V to –60 V DC
Note:
The minimum startup voltage is –40.5 V DC. If the input voltage is below/beyond extended limits, the unit might shut
down.
Power consumption
Note:
Installation options
Pole: on the back of the unit or sideways
Wall: on the back of the unit or sideways
NOTICE:
Always install this RRH in a vertical orientation with connectors on the bottom side, to ensure convection cooling.
NOTICE:
Do not connect a hot power cable to the remote radio head. Always connect cold power cables to the RRH and turn the
power supply on afterward. Connecting hot power cables can damage the RRH.
