Volumetric dough divider with pressureless measuring system

Suitable for bakery, pizzeria and supermarket, the compact SLIM dough divider uses an accurate
vacuum system (rather than a piston forcing the dough through) to create equal portions of dough. This
advanced technique results in excellent quality products since the dough is not compressed.

Respects the dough quality

The SLIM dough divider uses a vacuum system to draw dough in and then cuts it off. That way the
dough is not stressed. This system is ideal for delicate dough types, even with high water content.

Hygienic

The SLIM dough divider is designed in such a way that there is no metal-to-metal contact where
components slide against each other. No dough remains in the chamber (vacuum system), whereas in
piston-based systems dough is left behind and has to be taken out by opening the machine. Everything
that comes in contact with dough is stainless steel or Teflon coated where necessary (hopper, pusher
block).

Saving time

The SLIM dough divider is excellent for small series of different products. Quick change of products
because no dough remains in the dividing system. Compact design, small footprint and easy movable on
swivel wheels.

Easy cleaning

Cleaning – which must be done on a daily basis – only takes several minutes as no opening of the
machine is required. Piston and air filter can be easily removed for daily cleaning using a special tool
supplied with the machine. The hopper can be removed quickly with four bolts.

Description of options

Outfeed belt 50 cm

Length of longer outfeed belt is 50cm with outfeed height of 70-


80cm. Standard outfeed belt length is 25 cm with outfeed height
of 70-75 cm. If higher outfeed height is required; see option
outfeed belt 100cm (70 - 90 cm) or double outfeed belt for max.
outfeed height of 165 cm.

Outfeed belt 100 cm

Length of longer outfeed belt is 100cm with outfeed height of 70-


90 cm. Standard outfeed belt length is 25 cm with outfeed height
of 70-75 cm. If higher outfeed height is required; see option
double outfeed belt for max. outfeed height of 165 cm.

Note: Flour duster on picture is not part of this option.

Oiling of hopper plate

Strongly advised option for highly sticky and/or hydrated dough


types. Only experienced ”users“ of SLIM sometimes exclude this
option in purchase.

With every stroke of the hopper a few drops of oil are put on the
hopper plate to prevent dough from sticking on the plate.**

Additional oiling of pusher block (3 or 5 holes)

Like previous option it is strongly advisable to include this in the


purchase of SLIM. With every stroke a few drops of oil are
dropped on the pusher block to prevent dough sticking on it.

Only difference between 3 and 5 holes is division of oil on and


over the pusher block. Consumption of oil is the same with 3 or 5
holes. Advise is 5 holes since price difference in minimal.**

Raised underframe (10 or 30 cm)

For increasing the working height the SLIM can be equipped with
a underframe with wheels. Note that working height is increased
but also the top of the hopper. Dough input will also be higher.
On the other side, also dough outfeed is higher.

Electric flour duster

To automatically spray flour on each dough piece moving over


outfeed belt. Executed in stainless steel with continuous or
interval flour dosage.

Hopper 90 kg

Standard hopper is 50 kg with dough infeed height of 130 cm.


With 90 kg hopper dough infeed height is 160 cm.

Double outfeed belt

This option can transport dough piece to max. height of 165 cm.
Construction can be folded open with the possibility to use only
the lower belt. This way you can have a normal outfeed belt

Pre-rounder module

A separate unit with curved dough guidance system over a


conveyor belt placed behind the SLIM which is pre-rounding the
dough piece. The unit is interconnected and fixed to the SLIM.

Rounding module for 20 – 1200 gr. dough balls

A compact dough dividing and rounding combination for a wide


variety of dough types (incl. pizza dough). The rounding module
is fixed and connected to the SLIM divider but can be easily
disconnected and the SLIM can also be used without the dough
rounder. The complete setup of SLIM and dough rounder has a
minimum footprint; total length is 120 cm.

Depositor with 150L or 300L volume

Dough depositor for SLIM available in semi-automatic and


automatic execution. Completely made out of stainless steel.
Standard equipped with optical safety curtain for maximum
operator security. Dough is (automatically) portioned with electric
driven dough knife.

Vacuum reduction valve for hydrated dough

Absolutely required for extremely hydrated/soft dough. It reduces


the air vacuum which pulls the dough into the cylinder. With
extremely hydrated/soft dough standard air vacuum pulls to much
dough on the side of the piston. In short, this option reduces
contamination of the cylinder and reduces the number of times
cylinder and piston have to be cleaned.

Additional start/stop switch next to outfeed belt

When working with SLIM operator is positioned next or behind


the outfeed belt. To start/stop the machine operator has to move
to the front of the machine to start/stop it. With this option an
extra start/stop switch is placed next to the outfeed belt; there
where operator is usually positioned when taking dough of the
belt.

Connection for compressed air

When there is air-pressure available in the bakery this option can


be used. The SLIM can be connected to the air-pressure system
of the bakery. The SLIM will not be equipped with an internal
compressor. This way a heat source is removed from the inside;
producing less heat and lower noise levels during operation.

Outfeed belt with waffle structure

For better grip of the dough piece. Often used when outfeed belt
is placed in a steep angle. Better release of sticky dough pieces.

Moulding plate on outfeed belt

A special sheet construction on top of the outfeed belt which


moulds the dough piece in a long shaped form. Only available in
combination with 100cm long outfeed belt.

Dough scrapper on outfeed belt

A construction that automatically scraps the remaining dough


from the outfeed belt and secures that sticky dough pieces fall
into the rounder or moulder. It is constructed on the bottom side
of the belt.

Optical safety curtain on hopper infeed

To be used in case of bowl-lift or dough hopper. Emergency stop


is only activated when hopper is on top of dough area when there
is risk of entrapment of limbs.

Quick (un)lock system of hopper(block) for fast and better


cleaning

Simple unlocking on right and left side hopper and hopper block
can be released from the SLIM base. For easy access and
cleaning of hopper interior.

Preparation for very soft dough types

Special option for very soft and/or sticky dough types; to prevent
contamination and avoid dough residues in the machine itself.
Combination of O-ring seal with extra scrapper ring on upper
piston allows to weigh very soft dough types without vacuum
pump. Option includes on/off switch for vacuum and compressor
pump to switch off suction during dividing.

Deflection plate on outfeed belt (SLIM 2x200)

Handy with SLIM 2x200 to delay and line up dough pieces on the
outfeed belt.

** Oiling of hopper plate; oil consumption is 3x10mm3 per stroke (3 volume valves of 10mm3). Based on production of 1000 per
hour and 8 hours per day, consumption is 0.24L per day. For oiling of pusher block; oil consumption is 30mm3 per stroke; so
also 0.24L per day.
