Exam Spotlight

Conflict can be reduced by implementing team ground

rules and group norms and utilizing well-grounded
project management processes.

Regular and effective communication, and clear

definitions of the roles and responsibilities of team
members, will also go a long way in keeping conflict to a
minimum.

Effective communication refers to providing the information in

the right format for the intended audience at the right time.

Efficient communication refers to providing the appropriate

information at the right time—that is, only the information
that’s needed at the time.

The communications management plan is used to manage

the flow of information to the stakeholders in order to keep
them engaged and informed.

The stakeholder engagement plan helps maintain

relationships with the stakeholders, helps to ensure their
support, and manages stakeholder expectations.
