Kadenika’s Pastry Mart would be a sole trader and a medium business. This business
would come about in 2014. Kadenika’s Pastry Mart is engaged in baking cakes for
birthday and weddings. Kadenika’s Pastry Mart would have a delivery service where
goods are deliverer to customer when they place their orders.
This business is medium because Kadenika’s Pastry Mart would like to provide

Portland. This place of location there are several surrounding communities. The factors of
location influence the cost of a business.

Selection of Appropriate Labour

The Labour force of Kadenika’s as a limited amount of employees. The business is made
up of three bakers, two cashier, two waitress and two delivery persons. This organization
is a well planned business. Kadenika’s Pastry Mart is divided into three (3) areas:
kitchen, cafeteria and sports bar. There is a line graph organization structure in place of
this business.

Source of Fixed and Working Capital

Coming 2014 Kadenika would need a source of loan. This is so because personal savings
is not enough to start the business. A loan of $250,000 would be taken for the National
Commercial Bank (NCB). Kadenika would repay $5000 until repaid.
Fixed Capital is long lasting during production. This refers to the structure of the
business, the equipment used to bake the cakes, and delivery car which delivery cake to
customer.
Working capital which is changed is the course of production and refers to the raw
materials such as baking products and money to run the day- to- day operation.

Production is the creation of goods and services from input for distribution to customers.
This production is tertiary production. Kadenika’s Pastry Mart is linked between the
manufacturer and customer. Kadenika’s Pastry Mart would manufacture good and service

Kadenika ensures that the goods produced are provided in a good quality. She is in a
positive manner and they are always right. This means that anything happens between
customers and employers. The customers would always be right even if they are the one
who cause the conflict.

Use of Technology

The use of technology used in this business does required advanced technology but large
ones. The existing technologies that the firm uses are: Shove microwaves, refrigerator,
toaster and transport vehicle. Business records are prepared by the owner and are
recorded on a computer. Everyday stocks are recorded and cross checked by manager.

This company is registered with the Jamaica Stock Exchange. Since it is a sole trader
business however it is not registered with associated Registrar Company.
The workers of this company are paid base on their qualification. National
Insurance and Health welfare are taken from their salaries and paid to the relevant
authorities. This business is not required to pay government consumption tax (GCT)
because of its value of stock and sale.

Ethical Issues

The business ethic is what is right and what is wrong, based on the beliefs. Kadenika is
concerned about society and proper disposal of waste material. This is not ensure that
person from the society are not affected by the waste material. Another ethical issue is
one who deals with the consumer. And ensure that they obtain the quality and satisfaction
from goods that are paid for.
Kadenika ensure that customer are not overcharged and receive what their money
worth. This means customer would be provided to them. This described as the
corporation responsibility of the business. Another part of Kadenika’s ethical
responsibility is to advertisement of the business.

It could be stated that the investigation shows that a very large building will be needed to
do this business. I founded this to be a fact because I have run a survey in the community
and that’s what the resident the resident is saying.

However, my main findings is who I will choose to work in the kitchen because of the
cleanliness of people and if they are good at doing the job.
It can be concluded that only persons with food handler’s certificate are qualified.

I recommend myself for doing the survey of my business to see what will be the
