    The SWEP programme was held from September 27th to October 13th 2021 by the Chemical Engineering Department. During this time, students learned how to prepare standard solutions, perform soxchet extraction to extract oil from materials, produce paint and automobile grease. They gained hands-on experience participating in these activities. Pictures were taken of the students successfully preparing standard solutions and other events. In conclusion, the SWEP programme was a big success with students fully engaged and acquiring skills that will help them in their future professions.

    • The SWEP programme commenced on 27th
    Sept., 2021 with Opening Assembly.
    • After which the students proceeded to their
    department for proper introduction to the
    SWEP programme.
    • The activities for the programme was itemized
    for the students.

    during the SWEP programme
    • Students were taught how to prepare
    standard solution.
    • Extract oil from material using soxchet
    extraction.
