1. What are the issues that cause moral friction between Millennials/Filinnials and
their parents? How should we resolve the friction? Who is right?
In terms of who is right, it is not always a matter of one person being right or wrong.
Moral friction often arises due to differences in values and beliefs, which are
subjective and can vary from person to person. It is important to respect each other's
perspectives and find a way to coexist peacefully, even if you don't agree on
everything.
2. What are the issues that cause moral friction between millennials/millennials and
their parents in terms of the booming technology?
-Excessive use of technology
-Online safety
-Privacy concerns
-Cyberbullying
To resolve moral friction related to technology, it is important to have open and
honest conversations about the risks and benefits of technology use. Parents should
listen to their children's perspectives and concerns, and work together to establish
clear rules and boundaries around technology use. This can include setting limits on
screen time, discussing online safety and privacy, and addressing cyberbullying or
other online issues. It is important to approach these conversations with empathy and
understanding, and to focus on finding common ground and solutions that work for
everyone.
4. List down 5 issues that you always find being debated upon or quarreled upon with
your parents and ponder the reasons why?
-Career choices
-Relationship choices
-Financial decisions
-Political or social issues
-Household responsibilities
The reasons for these debates or quarrels may vary, but they often arise due to
differences in perspectives, values, and expectations between parents and their
children. It is important to communicate respectfully and find common ground to
resolve conflicts and disagreements.
One key factor that sets millennials and filinnials apart from previous generations is
their use of technology. Raised in an era of rapid technological advancement, these
generations have grown up with access to smartphones, social media, and other digital
platforms. This has shaped the way they communicate, work, and socialize, and has
led to a greater emphasis on flexibility, mobility, and remote work.
However, despite these positive traits, millennials and filinnials have also faced their
fair share of challenges. They have entered the workforce during a period of economic
instability and high unemployment, and have struggled to find stable, well-paying
jobs. They have also been criticized for being entitled, self-absorbed, and lacking in
work ethic.
Overall, the millennial and filinnial generations are a complex and multifaceted
group, shaped by their experiences, values, and perspectives. As they continue to
enter the workforce, politics, and other areas of society, they are likely to have a
significant impact on the world.
issues causing moral friction between millennials/filinnials and their parents regarding
technology
Millennials and filinnials, born between the early 1980s and late 1990s, are known for
their tech-savviness and familiarity with digital platforms. However, this has also
caused some moral friction with their parents, who may have different views on
technology usage. Common issues include overuse of technology leading to decreased
face-to-face communication, concerns over privacy and security, and disagreements
over the appropriateness of certain online content. Communication and understanding
are key to resolving these issues.
