Sa'id bin Zaid

Sa'id bin Zaid, Assabiqunal Awwalun Group Someone who played a role in making Umar bin
Khattab convert to Islam was Sa'id bin Zaid and Fatimah bint Khattab, his wife. Sa'id is the
younger brother-in-law of Umar bin Khattab. Since childhood Sa'id was invited by his father to
seek the right religion, the true religion, because the tradition of worshiping idols was considered
incorrect. However, before finding Islam, his father had passed away. When he heard about Islam
preached by the Prophet, Sa'id immediately joined the group of Islamic pioneers, namely people
who were the first to convert to Islam. His wife also declared herself embracing Islam.

Sa'id's struggle in defending Islam cannot be doubted. Sa'id always went to war with the Prophet,
also carried out the Prophet's orders seriously. The name Sa'id was mentioned by the Prophet as
one of the companions of the Prophet who was guaranteed to enter heaven.
