ORGANIZING THE BARANGAY PHYSICAL FITNESS AND SPORTS DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL

(BRFSDC) OF BARANGAY CANAWAY, KITCHARAO, AGUSAN DEL NORTE.

WHEREAS, pursuant to E.O 63 law created the National, Regional, Provincial, City, Municipal and
Barangay Physical Fitness and Sports Development5 Council, mandated for creation of BPFSDC in every
Barangay.

NOW THEREFORE, I CHARLEMIN P. MORALES, Punong Barangay of Barangay Canaway,

Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte by virtue of the powers vested in me by law do hereby promulgate the following
order:

Section 1 : Organization
 There is hereby a organized Barangay Physical Fitness And Sports Development Council
(BPFSDC) of Barangay Canaway, Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte for CY 2023.

Section 2 : Composition
 The Organized Barangay Physical Fitness And Sports Development Council (BPFSDC) of
Barangay Canaway, Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte shall be composed of the following :

Mr. Michael L. Tadulan - School Principal

Mrs. Vilma E. Basadre - Senior Citizen Pres.
Mrs.Carmelita D. Dagangon - Women’s Pres./NGO
Ms. Marjorie M. Decena - PWD’s Pres./NGO

Section 3 : Duties and Function

 The Barangay Physical Fitness And Sports Development Council (BPFSDC) shall be perform the
following duties and functions :
1. Meet at least once a month to plan and formulate a blueprint for the short, medium and long term
for the sect oral sports based on the National Policy and program of “Sports for all” including a
well synchronized year round calendar of Sports Activities and Competition culminating in a
National Palarong Pambansa.
2. Conduct local “Sports Summit “in consultation with other public and private entities concerned
to identify and priorities Sports council programs and activities in their respective areas of
concern and to monitor review and validated their program.
3. Oversee and ensure the implementation of the Physical Fitness and Sports Program and activities
in their respective areas of concern and Monitor I.E DepEd for Physical Education and School
sports , DILG and LGU’s for community based Sports. IND for military , DOLE for labor Sports
POC and NSAs for elite Sports for international competitions, and GAB for professional Sports.
 4. Disseminated proper information on the national policy and program, including their local
programs to encourage the active participation of their constituents on physical fitness and Sports
activities.
5. Assist in the identification, recruitment, and training of gifted and talented athletes from their
areas to ensure a wide base for selection of national athletes who will represent the country in
international Sports competition, submit a quarterly report to the chairman of the nation’s
BPFSDC and furnish a copy to the Philippines Sports Commission.
6. Perform other function deemed necessary to promote and implement the National Policy and
Program.

Section 4 : Meeting
 The Barangay Physical Fitness And Sports Development Council (BPFSDC) shall meet once a
month or as often as necessary.

Section 5 : Effectively
 This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
