PETITION FOR LETTERS OF ADMINISTRATION

(Under section 56(1) of the Probate and Administration of Estates Act Cap 352 R.E 2002
and Rule 39 of the Probate Rules GN. No. 369 of 1963)

1. I, DAVID DENIS AMON a resident of Sinza Area within Ubungo Municipality in Dar
es Salaam Region, hereby petition this Honourable Court for a grant of letters of
administration of the estate of the late DENIS AMON JOHN who died at SINZA in Dar
es Salaam on the 14th February 2003.A copy of the death certificate is hereby attached
and marked as Annexure V1 for which leave of this Honourable Court is craved for it
to form part of this petition.

2. The said deceased left surviving him the following relatives:-

i) DAVID DENIS of Dar Es Salaam Son
ii) FORTUNATE DENIS of Dar Es Salaam Daughter
iii) ELIZABETH DENIS of Dar Es Salaam Daughter
iv) CLARA DENIS of Dar Es Salaam Daughter
v) RICHARD DENIS of Dar Es Salaam Son

3. This petition is made by me, as a Son of the deceased appointed by the beneficiaries
/family of the deceased to be an administrator of the deceased estate. A copy of the
minutes of the family which appointed me as the administrator is hereby attached and
marked as Annexure V2 for which leave of this Hon. Court is craved for it to form part
of this petition.
 4. I believe that the assets which are likely to come to my hands will be:-
(i) One house Plot no. 476, block 47 at KIJIJTONYMA, MPAKANI AREA,
UBUNGO MUNICPAL in DAR ES SALAAM CITY.

TOTAL OF THE WHOLE ESTATE Tshs. 75,000,000/=

5. The said deceased died intestate and due and diligent search has been made for a Will but
none has been found.

6. The said deceased at the time of his death had a fixed place of abode at Dar es Salaam
and/or property within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court.
7. The said deceased was a Tanzania National and professed the Christian Religion.

8. No proceedings for the grant of Probate or letters of administration or otherwise for the
administration of the estate of the said deceased have been commenced before any Court
or authority in Tanzania.

9. AND I, the said DAVID DENIS AMON the petitioner above named, declare that what is
stated above in paragraph 1, 2(i), 2(ii), 2(iii), 2(iv) and 2(v), 3, 4 (i), 5, 6, 7 and 8 is true
