GENERAL INSTRUCTION –
1. The question paper consists of 22 questions divided into 3 sections A, B and C.
2. Section A has 8 questions - 4 MCQ's and 4 case study questions.
3. Section B has 6 questions.
4.Section C has 8 questions- 4 questions of 2 marks each, two questions of 3 marks each and 2 questions of 5
marks each.
5. There is no overall choice. However internal choices are provided in sections A and C. You have to attempt
only one of the alternatives in all such questions.
6. Use of calculators is not permitted
7. Draw figures wherever necessary.

CASE STUDY
5. A jar contains three different flavored candies. There are 18 mango candies, 20 orange
candies and 12 strawberry candies. Now based on the above information, answer the
following questions:
(i) Write all the factor of 20. (1)

Find the LCM of 12, 18 and 20.
6. You have heard of directions in Geography. We also know that Sun rises in the
east and sets in the west. There are four main directions. They are North (N),
South (S), East (E) and West (W).
If Raghu is walking towards north, observe the information and answer the
following questions:
(i) In which direction will he be facing if he turned to the left? (1)
(ii) What is the measurement of the angle formed between South and North? (1)
(iii) What part of a revolution Raghu turned, if he stand facing East and turn clockwise to face North ? (1)
(iv) How many right angles Raghu will make if he start facing (2)
