MESSAGE: Tempus Fugit (read as TEMP-iss FEW-jit.

Time really flies so fast. It is like yesterday when I first took and assumed the responsibility as the president of the U.E.P. Non-Teaching staff. And now here I am in front of you, delivering a message which signals the end of my term. For years of holding the position, I can say that I have achieved something that embodies the consolidated effort of the officers. We have shared a common vision-that of which is to serve the people whom we are really indebted of- you our fellow nonteaching personnel, our stakeholders. You gave me this privilege to serve you and having done so has never been a burden on my part. The trust you gave me boosted my confidence to do the best I could to the best of my ability to be your servant-leader. Thank you for that, for giving me this wonderful opportunity. And to the ones who doubted my capacity, I thank you also. Because of you, I persevered. Because of you, I did my best to prove you wrong. Others might think that it is a silly thing to thank those bunches of people who in the first place never had a belief on what you can do. But it made me realize that it should not be considered as a hindrance towards the achievement of our goals and dreams for the organization. In fact, it made me a better person because I learned to serve beyond what is expected and to set aside personal interests to give way to the interest of the masses. Our differences in our principles should be set aside first. Rather, what we ought to do is to be one in helping the organization to have a smooth sail as it paddles its canoe towards the full fruition of its objectives. And of course, any aspired vision would not have been possible, had not it all been because of the help of my co-officers. They are the ones who never left me in times when the organization faced difficult situations. They were witnesses of every smile and frown there was in my face. And I wholeheartedly thank you all, for having faith in me that I could lead and serve you.

To the university president, Atty. Mar P. De Asis; thank you for helping me fulfill my sworn promises by granting us favors intended for the improvement of the organization. Whatever we have achieved would not be materialized without your help. Thank you so much our dearly beloved president. And my immeasurable thanks goes to the Man above who constantly guides my way and helps me distinguish right from wrong. He stays with me as I venture through lifes bumps and humps. Thank You Almighty God. Now I can ensconce myself for I have been comforted by the fact that my successor is as good as any other servant-leaders there are in the university premises and the legacy that we have long built will never be wasted. I feel assured that the trust that you will bestow upon her will motivate and inspire her to do more than what I have achieved. Yes it is true that my term ends here, but my service will continue as long as I live. You all were with me when it was my turn. And now that it is your time LYRA MERIDA as the new president of the U.E.P. Non-teaching Staff Association, we will all be with you. May God give you the strength and courage to surpass every trial that comes your way as the new president of the organization. Thank you all for being here today, for making this affair possible. I am JULIANA CAMPOSANO CARPIO, now signing off
