Activity 1: Work Ethics On the Go!

Directions: Answer the following questions after each situation.

A. If you start your Work Immersion or even Culminating Activity, you will be told your exact
schedule and time you are in the workplace and time when you are to be out. How will you keep
a good record of attendance considering that attendance matters?

- I'll be capable to keep record of my attendance in work immersion by not being away.
Coming on time is a pointer of good attendance during work immersion. I need to follow a good
resting schedule. I must prioritize duty over other matters, to ready myself for the working world.

B. Two scenarios below happen in the real world. How would you apply your Work Ethics in the
following situations?

1. There might be times your boss allows you to work from home. Having the permission to
work from home, you just took some office supplies, anyway you are using it for work from
home.

- In this situation, I’ll be glad if my boss allowed me to do that, because I can handle my
time management and to be allowed to have my office supplies, I’ll utilize all of it.

2. There are companies or other workplaces that allow trainees like Work Immersion 
students just finish the work for the day, and they can go home. That scenario happens to you,
so you can go home already as per instruction. But you see other trainees like you are still
working. 

- In this situation, If I see other trainees that is still working and I’m already done, I’ll try to
help them to finish their work as well, to maybe go home altogether.

Activity 2: Work Ethics in Me

Directions: Among the different work ethics we have studied, which among them do you often
practice at home, in school, or anywhere? In five sentences, write instances you practiced.

1. At home, me and my sister has our own time for washing the dishes and we respect each
other by doing dishes at our designated time.
2. At school, me and my groupmates is doing our group research altogether, to maybe finish our
research more easily.
3. Being honest at home is one of the most important.
4. Abiding the Law outside, especially the road.
5. Just like on the groupings at school, teamwork is also associated with cooperation.
 One of the curriculums exits of K to 12 Basic Education Program is employment. It is
good that you develop a certain discipline to uphold good work ethics because it will make you a
better employee.

Is it good to be always transferring from one company to another? If all the employees or
workers are in good relationship with one another, they might stay longer because they are
happy and satisfied because of exercising the right character and attitude in a workplace. 

Write an essay on how you envision yourself as part of the industry’s or company’s
workforce. How will work ethics be helpful in maintaining a good work relationship? Write your
essay on a yellow paper (screenshot) or use Google Docs/ Microsoft Word for submission.

Job- hopping can be a great opportunity to learn new skills and gain new experience, but it can
have the advantages and disadvantages of it, but of course you have to have the knowledge about it.
I envision myself to be a great human being in terms of being an open learner that is ready for the new
experience and skills, I will be advanced on a company’s mission and goal to be aligned right with their
objectives.
