Accomplishment Report in

EARLY LANGUAGE LITERACY AND NUMERACY

(January to March 2023)

I. Introduction

Early Language, Literacy, and Numeracy programs is being intensified by the Department of Education despite the growing digits of cases of COVID-19 in the

country. The ELLN Digital is one way to address the students' need especially that it is the first school year where teachers encountered the children a full blast

face-to-face classes. The ELLN digital learning by teachers and the SLAC sessions that were done during the previous school year were applied to diverse learners

since the SLAC and the ELLN digital learning in Sirib Elementary School were not only done by K-3 teachers but with the intermediate grades also to address the

school’s large number of frustration level readers. The application of the lessons leaned in the modules would be of big help to effectively cater the reading and

numeracy needs of the learners from all levels in the school.

II. Activities Undertaken

1. ELLN SLAC SESSIONS

During School LAC activities teachers are being gathered into the school faculty room every Thursday or Friday at 3:30 to 4:30 in the afternoon. The ELLN Digital

SLAC was resumed to continue the Module 4 last March 23, 2023, facilitated by the assigned teachers for each topic. It was a very productive and interactive

SLAC sessions where the teacher-participants are highly engages to contribute to the learning process.
