1ST Quarter
1. Literary Journals or Blogs:
Have students create online or
physical journals or blogs where they
can respond to readings, share
insights, and explore personal
connections to the literature.
2. Thematic Mood Boards:
Create mood boards with images,
textures, and colors that convey the
themes, moods, and atmospheres of a
literary piece. Explain the connections
between the visuals and the text.
2. Debate or Discussion:
Select a thought-provoking topic
related to a piece of literature, current
events, or social issues. Divide the
class into two groups and organize a
structured debate or discussion,
encouraging students to practice
expressing their opinions clearly and
respectfully.
2nd Quarter
1. Greek and Norse Mythology-
Themed Cosplay:
a. Introduce the concept of Greek
mythology and discuss
significance of mythological characters
in ancient Greek culture.
b. Present a list of iconic Greek
mythological characters and briefly
explain their traits and stories.
c. Have students choose a character
they are interested in cosplaying as.
Ensure that multiple students don't
choose the same character to
encourage diversity.
2. Character Analysis Portfolio:
