"war crime"SOS
ALARM EVERYONE! SAVE THE PRISONERS OF AZOV!

The AZOV defenders in Mariupol have been prisoners of war for over a
year, they were captured by russians in May 2022 and they have endured
tortures and starvation throughout this year and now they are on trial by the
inhuman russians, just because they defended their life, their city, their
homeland, their AZOV.

STOP THE RUSSIANS! FREE INNOCENT PEOPLE!

People's fates are decided...you have to shout about it!
In russia, the judgment - the "trial of 22 servicemen from "Azov" has
begun: they are accused of terrorism. This is reported by russian propagandist
media.
During the first court hearing, a representative of the russian prosecutor's
office said that two of the "suspects" had already been exchanged, so the case
would be considered in relation to 22 captured Ukrainians, and not 24, as
planned.
Among the defenders there are eight women who worked in the service
combat support (in the kitchen) during the brigade's deployment to the Azov
plant.
All of them, according to the statements of the russians, were captured in
May 2022 as they tried to pass the checkpoint on the outskirts of the city.
The judge set the next court hearing for June 28. Captured Ukrainian
soldiers risk to have 15 years in prison or the whole life.
In russia AZOV prisoners are judged. All are accused of participating in
“terrorist” organizations and of power seizing.
OLEG ZHARKOV He was not an AZOV fighter, he worked in the
security platoon of the commander's company and finished his military service
before 2022.
ALEXANDR IRKHA He served in a tank unit of AZOV in 2015-2020.

YAROSLAV ZHDAMAROV. At the time of his detention he had not been in

the army for 3 years. From 2019 he was in charge of training dogs and
developing the business of selling purified water
ARTEM GREBESHKOV- a former senior soldier of AZOV regiment. He
resigned from military service before the full-scale invasion.

Also among the defenders there are many ex-soldiers. And the detention of
civilians - is a flagrant violation of the Geneva Convention: many of them have
been detained at home or at checkpoints. On the picture ANATOLIY
GRYTSYK – a deputy commander of the long-retired AZOV regiment . He
resigned from the National Guard in 2018.

Among the accused there

are 8 women. They worked
as cooks in the rear support
during the deployment
of the brigade to the

The trial taking place in the russian city of Rostov-on-Don for captured
soldiers of the AZOV battalion is a war crime, says human rights activist, the
director of the Center for Civil Liberties and the laureate of Nobel Peace Prize
winner Oleksandra Matviychuk on Radio Liberty. The human rights defender
claims that russia violates international humanitarian law.
"Servicemen are prisoners of war and have, in fact, the privilege of a
combatant and, in accordance with international humanitarian law, it is
forbidden to judge servicemen for the fact that they took part in hostilities.
When we see what they are accused of, we will understand that they are judged
for this thing. They are judged for the fact that they defended Ukraine, defended
the people and defended our democratic choice," Matviychuk said on the
airwaves of the Svoboda. Ranok broadcast.
She explains: "The soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine are accused
of participating in a terrorist organization and attempting to seize power, which
is not true. In addition, the russian side also illegally detains civilians."
"They are accused of participating in a terrorist organization. This is
probably how russia sees the Ukrainian National Guard and all the Ukrainian
Armed Forces. And also participation in an attempt to seize power, and that is
understandable because russia considers the occupied Ukrainian territories as
russian territory.
When we talk about civilians, russia had no right to detain them. There are
very few grounds for detaining civilians, and certainly more than enough time to
determine how dangerous they are. This is a clear war crime," says the human
rights activist.
The day before, the Center for Civil Liberties officially appealed to the
International Committee of the Red Cross, but it has not yet received a response
and there has been no official reaction. Oleksandra Matviychuk believes that
international law does not work on the russian side.
"There is the law, but there are the realities of life. In our realities, the
law does not work. Regarding the law, prisoners of war can be exchanged, and
there it is obvious that after receiving the sentence, a "window of opportunity"
will open to intensify negotiations for these people, who we see: exhausted and
tortured. And the civilians must not be exchanged at all, they must be released
immediately without any conditions We are in a situation where russia sneezes
on international law and on all the decisions of international organizations,
”explains the lawyer.

“THIS IS THE CONCENTRATION CAMP - 21ST CENTURY.

CONCENTRATION CAMP! IN THE EYES OF THIS SILENT WORLD!
Judgment on our citizens of Azov. Their fault is that they defended their
Fatherland and they are Ukrainians. The indomitable but tortured Heroes.
