mandatory. It is as per the PO
1-B.2.10 Class 1 Vessel – a vessel that is designed using
the allowable stresses from Section II, Part D, Subpart
1,
Table 2A or Table 2B.
Class 2
UDS(User design specification ) and
MDR(Manufacturer design Report ) is mandatory
1-B.2.11 Class 2 Vessel – a vessel that is designed using
the allowable stresses from Section II, Part D, Subpart
1,
Table 5A or Table 5B.

Design calculation as per the part 4 only Design calculation as per the Part 4 and Part 5
UDS required for if below condition is applicable.
1)Fatigue analysis is applicable
2)If clause 2.3.3.1 is applicable.
3)calculation as per the Part 5.
4)Semic analysis is applicable.
