Current assignment (rough draft)

The article is titled "The cinema will survive the pandemic apocalypse",
Commissioned by the editorial board. The letter deals with the situation that cinemas
and companies that are dedicated to the film trade are going through with respect to the
"COVID" pandemic. It is a short article that highlights certain problems in the industry
today and all that this entails in the financial aspect, something very important since we
have seen that movie theaters have been replaced as "VOD" (Video on demand).

The article is written in a colloquial language and it could be said that

"Conventional" since in addition to informing about the situation of the cinema that is
not the best now, it also "jokes" a bit with it, it does not do it in bad taste, it does More
pleasant. In this article there is also important data with previous research that supports
the content. In addition, he contrasts a previous reality with the current context in which
we live. The writing is good and does not use complicated language. Whoever wrote the
article really wanted to be as clear as possible and explain everything with a pinch of
irony and sarcasm.

The question that is asked in the article is: will cinemas survive after the
pandemic? The answer is clearly uncertain before the reasoning of the article, since it
has seen big drops and big rises in the industry. Another possible question would be: if
cinemas survive, will people continue to attend? and this clearly connects with the
current situation and the future of humanity is uncertain.
The problem covered by the article fills me with doubts and makes me reflect on
my own future as a filmmaker, I am also doing a thesis that I aspire to premiere in
movie theaters and festivals, but now this has become a utopia, something that maybe I
will. The outlook for cinema is uncertain but there is still hope. The entire text does not
lead to a common thought, in which the film industry is in a tailspin, and not only
because of COVID, it is also because of the rebound in streaming platforms that exist
now. It is certainly not a good time to make movies but hopes for VOD remain.
