EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Coca-Cola Company founded in 1892 and is the largest beverage manufacture and distributor in the

world, one of the largest corporations in the United States and one of the most successful brands in the

marketing history (Britannica, 2023). Covid-19 pandemic poses a series of unparalleled obstacles to the

business industry such as the delineates of the company product portfolio, facing global health crisis and

adopting to the new normal and sustainable recuperation strategies to the corporations specially the

Coca-Cola Company including the subsidiary, the Coca-Cola Philippines. Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) is

an infectious disease caused by the SARS-Cov-2 virus started at the beginning of 2020 that causes

business to implement lockdowns, social distancing protocols and alterations of consumer behaviors.

The Coca-Cola Company had faced various challenges in the advent of Covid-19 where they had

compelled to undertake new strategic adjustments, modifications and creative initiatives in order to

effectively cater the changing needs of clients and markets (The Coca-Cola Company, 2023). The Coca-

Cola Company designed a sustainable recovery effort aims not only to navigate the crisis of pandemic

and also to positively contribute to the society and planet. During this phase the company had faced

various achievements such as Sustainable Packaging and Recycling Initiatives, Water Stewardships, and

Renewable Energy Adoption. Despite with the achievement they had the company also encounters

shortcomings or challenges during the recovery journey such as Plastic Waste Reductions and Circular

Economy Challenges, Carbon Emission Reduction and Supply Chain Impact, Health and Nutritional

Concerns, and Supply Chain Challenges.
