The Silo Hotel brings a new dimension to dining in the city with our exclusive,
glass fronted private dining rooms. The Wisdom Room, a wonderful private
dining room for up to 22 guests (minimum of 10 guests). The Wisdom Room
was named after the last ship to ever take grain to Europe from the grain silo –
MV Anangel Wisdom – in 1995.

The Wisdom Room is situated on The Silo Hotel’s 6th floor mezzanine level,
overlooking the Granary Café. From here guests can look out through The
Silo’s ingenious glass windows at the surrounding silo precinct.

(set up on the table for guests to help themselves)

• Filter coffee & a selection of teas
• One speciality coffee (cuppacino, latte etc.)

KINDLY NOTE:
We require pre-payment for all meals as well as a 12% discretionary
service fee on confirmation of the booking; any additional beverages
ordered will be charged on consumption and will need to be settled on
departure.

Guests are welcome to enjoy pre-drinks on the rooftop (weather
permitting). Should you wish to do so, please let us know in advance
what drinks you would like. We have a wide selection of bubbly, wines,
beers and soft drinks. The rooftop will be available for an hour prior
to the sitting.
Alternatively, guests are welcome to enjoy pre-drinks in the private
library which is situated on the same floor as The Wisdom Room.
KINDLY NOTE:
To secure a booking for lunch or dinner in The Wisdom Room we require
pre-payment for all meals, a 12% discretionary service fee, as well as a
charge of R250 per person which will be set off against all wines.
Additional beverages and any other extras will be charged for on
consumption and will need to be settled on departure. Should there be a
credit leftover, we will process a refund within 7 days of the reservation.
We offer preferential room rates at The Silo Hotel to confirmed private dining/event bookings.

Final numbers to be confirmed 48 hours before the event;

any changes within 48 hours of the event the guests will be charged in full

CANCELLATION FEES:
• Should you cancel more than 4 weeks out after deposit/pre-payment has been made a
10% of the pre-payment amount fee will be charged and the balance refunded OR the full
amount can be used for a future booking
• 25% of pre-paid amount if cancelled 4 weeks prior to event with balance to be used towards
a future booking OR refunded to guests
• 50% of pre-paid amount if cancelled 3 week prior to event with the balance to be used
towards a future booking OR refunded to guests
• 100% of pre-paid amount if cancelled 2 weeks prior to event
