2023-24 INTERNATIONAL

SCHOLARSHIP
OPPORTUNITIES
PREPARED FOR:
The Students of COMSATS University
Islamabad in line with the Internationalization
Strategy

PREPARED BY:
International Office
COMSATS University Islamabad
Foreword
Moving abroad and studying at an international university is a dream of many students. And why not,
overseas education provides benefits to students like broadening knowledge, learning new languages,
gaining independence, discovering and immersing in new culture, expanding network, finding hidden
gems and coming back to the beloved country proudly with international exposure and with all skill sets.
These benefits ultimately help out students for grabbing employers’ attention. This dream come true can
be intimidating for taking practical steps even if students are on their budget.

However, moving and studying abroad is too expensive! This is falsely believed by many students since
they do not know that plenty of scholarships are available globally, waiting ahead rather running behind
the students to tap these opportunities. These scholarships are open at Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD
degree programs and provide excellent opportunity to study. The point is that most of the students are not
aware of these opportunities. We, at the International Office, are here to facilitate our alumni, give
information about available scholarships and assist them to add mission to their future.

The International Office in line with the Internationalization Strategy has prepared a handbook for uplifting bright stars of COMSATS
University Islamabad (CUI) to take practical steps to benefit from international scholarship opportunities to study abroad. The booklet
contains information about courses description, fields of study, grants, eligibility criteria, application procedure, deadline and a web
link for comprehensive information. Please take advantage of these opportunities to receive a quality education at an international
university of your desired destination country and make your dreams come true! So, read the handbook carefully and follow the
guidelines.

At the end, I must acknowledge my team comprising Mr. M. Abbas Baloch, Mr. Zubair Iqbal, Mr. Ghazanfar Ali, Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed
and Engr. M. Junaid Zafar who explored these opportunities and compiled into this valuable resource booklet. This team can be
contacted for further assistance. Their contact details are mentioned below.
