At the end of first day, before leaving the examination hall the candidate shall submit tracings of all preliminary drawings of site plan and floor plans, explaining the scheme/concept. 2. The tracing submitted on the first day will not be returned to the candidates. ; 3. Major deviations/changes in the design from the one submitted on the first day will NOT be permitted and will amount to using unfair means. 4. Ail answers shall be written in English language only. 5. Assume suitable data wherever necessary and mention it at appropriate place. &. Areas of the spaces given, may be altered if required, with proper justification, 7. Use appropriate scale which suits the size of the sheet provided. 8. THIS PAPER CONTAINS 2 PAGES. Laff Quarters for a Private Uni A newly set up private University in NOIDA wishes to construct staff quarters for its employees, both teaching and non-teaching. The University will execute the plan in three phases but asthe architect you have to prepare a Consolidated plan for the entire requirements and also specify the stage-wise execution of the same, The design will obviously have to be energy-efficient and sustainable. All boundary demarcations will be done with the help of landscape elements only, Maximum permissible ground coverage: 50% of the area of the plot. Semi-detached bungalows for the Pro Vice Chancellor, Registrar & Controller of Examinations (3 BHK). Plot area 200-220 sqm, Row houses ~12 nos. (3 BHK). Plot area 160-180 sqm, 2 BHK flats ~ 45-50 nos. (with stit parking). Carpet area 50-60 sqm per flat 1 BHK flats ~ 45-50 nos. (with stilt parking). Any other space/facility relevant to the concept may be suitably assumed and provided within the given constraints. Drawing requirements: 1. Site plan (showing building outlines, approach, parking, landscape, ete.).. 2, Floor plans of all levels of all the bungalows & row houses and typical floor plans of the flats and studio apartments. (showing all openings, furniture layout, etc)... 3, Front elevations of a semi-detached bungalow and any block of flats (suitably rendered)... 4. Two sections (one through a row house and the other through a block of studio apartments) 6. Sketch view of the Vice Chancellor's bungalow (suitably rendered)... 7.
