TITLE : FIREWALL INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.0 PURPOSE
To Establish The Procedure To Ensure The Inprocess ,Assembly ,Final
inspection,firewall inspection / pre delivery inspection activities are carried out as
per the quality standard and quality specification.

2.0 SCOPE
All products under production and Finished components.

3.0 RESPONSIBILITY
Quality Head & Quality Engineer

4.1 Firewall Inspection :

4.1.1 Finished products / After assembly product & After the final inspection parts
to be move to Fire wall inspection as agreed with customer and as per the firewall
inspection requirement by Quality – Head .

4.1.2 The firewall inspection to be carried out by inspector .

QA as per the following conditions,
- After SOP + 90days as per Customer Requirement
- After the customer complaint defined period
- After the ECN(Engineer Change Note) for defined period
- As agreed with customer by NPT for the critical characteristic for
defined period as per the control plan
- Export parts as customer requirement

4.1.3 Inspection records maintained by Quality Inspector and Approved by QA-Head

4.1.4 Necessary Quality firewall standards ,Work instructions & Master part list to be
displayed at fire wall station .
4.1.5 After the firewall inspection if parts found OK ,
- The parts to be moved to FG and send to customer

4.1.5 If parts found defective and /or NG ( even 1 no’s also), To be analyse the
problem / Quality issues along with CFT by Head – QA and necessary action to be
taken and Follow as per customer complaint procedure .

 Intiate the ICA activities

 Give awareness to both shift operator

 Quality alert displayed in respective area

 Complaint upadate in FRT board & communicate to CFT team

 Identify the root cause through 8D report

 Effectiveness monitoring

 Lesson learned
