Healthy foods is a very important aspect of living a healthy lifestyle. A balanced diet comprises of fruits such as
apples and mangoes which are rich in vitamin, vegetables such as carrots, leafy greens, legumes like beans and
peas, carbohydrates and also grains such as quinoa, brown rice, barley, buckwheat. Eating a balanced diet is
healthy for the body. A balanced diet allows you to have better sleep, improves your immune system to fight
against bacteria causing diseases. In children, a balanced diet reduces frequent infections and underdeveloped
body growth but instead leads to normal growth and development of a child. Another importance of a healthy
diet is supplying nutrients and supplements needed by the body to work effectively. It also reduces the chances
of getting chronic illness such as diabetes and stroke. A balanced diet also enhances your mental focus and

bones and can help to slow bone loss when one starts aging. A balanced diet is not only taking the correct food
with the correct amount of nutrients but also about the amount of food consumed.

A balanced diet is also for important for students. First, it helps them concentrate in their studies and also gives
them energy to work all day, The diet ensures that the student has enough energy to participate is school
activities such as sports such as basketball and football, dancing, singing and all the daily activities in the school.
