BIODISPERSANT for CONDENSER TREATMENT

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
TWM 3178 is a highly effective, biodispersant with synergistic broad spectrum microbiocide
for use in majority industrial process water.

PRODUCT BENEFIT
TWM 3178 is a concentrated aqueous that:
i) Kills bacteria, algae, and fungus, including Legionella pneumophila
ii) Provides excellent biofouling control
iii) Removes biofilm more effectively than traditional non-oxidizing biocides like isothiazalone
iv) Gives improved and more cost-effective results when used synergistically with any of the
oxidizing biocides
v) Can enhance the efficiency of other corrosion inhibitors by 3%-5% more, such as Zinc salt
or Sulfonate compounds, and even with Azoles for improved yellow metal corrosion
inhibition
vi) Suitable for geothermal cooling tower applications

CHEMICAL COMPATIBILITY
TWM 3178 is stable and can be used in any process water within the pH range of 2-12. At
normal dose level, it is compatible with oxidizer. Also good compatibility with other anioinic
water treatment additives, unlike other cationic chemicals such as quaternary ammonium
compounds.

DOSAGE AND CONTROL

TWM 3178 as a non-oxidizer, typically dosed between 20 and 25 ppm, as product. Combination
with oxidizing biocides like TWM 3108 has synergistic effects and optimizes the overall dosage.
