GENERAL DESCRIPTION
CrestoProTM 581 is a highly effective multifunctional water treatment solution for algae, biofouling ,
inorganic deposit control and yellow metal corrosion, all combined in one easy-to-use tablet.

PRODUCT BENEFIT

CrestoPro™C581 provides its user with the following benefits:

• Specially developed for use in cooling towers greater than 200Rt recirculation tonnage.
• Easy-to-use with no need of a dosing pump, simply suspend tablets in a convenient area of water
circulation.
• Eliminates corrosion issyes from the over usage of oxidising biocides as the mentioned component is
absent in the product.
• Eliminates liquid spill hazards and powder duel related problems.
• Eliminates the need to transport heavy pails and drums to the top of the containment building or
difficult to access areas and also removes the concern and costs of safe disposal of the drums or pails.
• Absence of adverse interactions with any cooling water treatment chemicals at normal use conditions.

DOSAGE AND CONTROL

 A dosage of 1 tablet (200g) is recommended for every 50RT (approximately 1m³ holding volume)
cooling system.
 During start-up of a fouled system, a dosage of 2-3 tablets per 50RT is recommended to be suspended
under recirculation water to rapidly establish the required chemical concentration for effective
treatment.
 If the system is cleaned before chemical treatment, a dosage of one tablet per 50RT is recommended
to be placed in an area where water is moving or agitated, and the tablets will dissolve completely in
2 -3 weeks under these conditions.
 Tablets should be replenished whenever the system water is being drained or replaced.
