Q.1. What is the role of rapid transit system in promoting traffic and transportation problems in
Urban India, Identify those problems and suggest appropriate solutions ?
Q2, Identify different transportation systems which are available in India and explain their
advantages and disadvantages?

Q.3. What are different elements which are used in design of roads? Explain the role of each element
in achieving road safety?
Q4. Explain the basis on which roads are classified? Explain the classifications adopted in India for
the roads?
