Marvel zombies:

A zombicide game

Why Is this Necessary?

It’s not! I just thought it would be fun to add some flavor text to the game.
Purpose
This is the preferred format if you you don’t feel like printing out the cards and
would prefer to just roll for events below.
Requirements
- 2x D20s (or the equivalent thereof)
How to Use

It’s easy. Elect a new first player at the beginning of every round. That player rolls
2 D20s. Add them together and go to the number you’ve rolled and read what
happens. Sometimes there good. Mostly there not. Good luck…
Events
0. You haven't seen a single living person walking down the street and your hunger for human
flesh is intensifying. The desperate search for a meal has become more and more difficult as the
days pass. Raise your hunger.
1. You rip the door of its hinges with ease. Cowering in the back of the room is a little old lady. She
looks at you through tear stained eyes and begs, “Please.” You lick your swollen lips and rasp, “I
love appetizers…” You lunge towards the old woman. You and every other hero on this zone
may decrease your hunger by one.

2. Crack! The bullet whizzes past your ear and splinters against the wall. A portly looking man in a
buckskin cap and orange vest aims a hunting rifle in your direction. He pulls back the slide and
readies another bullet. Roll a die.
a. (1-2) He hits you square in the chest. You stare down at the smoking hole. It kind of
tickles. Lose one health and the man runs off while you’re distracted. Raise hunger.
b. (3-4) Crack! You watch in amazement as the bullet ricochets around the room and hits
something attached to the man’s belt. A grenade. There’s a burst of blood and fire. You
pull a piece of shrapnel out of your eye, shrug, and dig your hands into what used to be
the hunter’s torso. Lose one health and lose one hunger.
c. (5-6) You dodge the next shot and the one after that with the grace of a ballerina (if said
ballerina were decaying at a rapid rate and craved flesh). You tear the hunter apart and
you look so cool doing it. You pat yourself on the back for a job well done (with the
hunter’s hand) and dig inside his entrails for the juiciest bits. Set your Hunger to “0”.

3. The room is in shambles. Tables turned over. Blood splattered across a dirty floor. A family of
five used to live here and they’re still here… technically. Here. There. Everywhere. Someone was
already here and made a meal of this family and had the nerve to not leave any left overs. Time
to try your luck elsewhere.

4. It must have been something… or someone… you ate but you feel pretty good (for a zombie)
and it makes being dead tolerable in the very least. Draw a trait card.

5. You curse yourself for being so stupid. It had obviously been a trap. A random dog with a
sandwich strapped to his back? In the middle of a zombie apocalypse? Of course it was a trap,
you idiot! Spawn two troopers in your space.

6. You corner the young woman on a rooftop. A dead end. There’s nowhere else for her to go.
You’ve chased her all over this godforsaken city and you’d be out of breath if… you know… you
were still capable of breathing, but for the moment you’re just really angry and really hungry.
You can’t believe she had the nerve to run from you. This could have been over hours ago but
she chose to draw it out. Worse still she thinks she’s dressed in some ridiculous looking outfit. A
bushy brown tail. Buck teeth. You want to tell her how stupid she looks when she suddenly
snaps her fingers. You’re about to make you’re move when you’re overcome by hundreds of
bushy tailed squirrels. They swarm over you. Biting and clawing at your eyes. You lose your
footing and suddenly you’re falling, falling, falling… You hit the cement with a groan. Increase
your hunger. Don’t lose any health. Instead feel embarrassed that you were actually beaten
by Squirrel Girl.

7. It took you forever but you’ve finally managed to crack through the guard’s shell and scoop out
a bit of his brains. You gnaw on it with fervor and are about to tell Leather Boy to get his own
lunch when – CRACK! Leather Boy’s zombified face disappears in a red spray. He slumps to the
ground and you use his meat corpse as a shield. It’s dark out but you can see the muzzle flash of
a rifle on a nearby rooftop. Each gunshot illuminates the white skull on the sniper’s shirt. You
need to get out of here. Roll a die.
a. (1-2) You jump up and tear towards the closest alleyway. The sniper fires and your arm
snaps back over your shoulder and disappears into the dark. You’re not sure where it
landed. You roll your eyes. You liked that arm. You’ll go back for it later. Lose one
health.
b. (3-4) You leap to your feet, prepared to take off, when your foot sinks into the cavity
that’s Leather Boy’s face. Crack! The bullet hits the telephone pole behind you. Another
shot. This one much closer. You feel it buzz past your ear. You stumble, fall to your
knees, and play dead. Well… dead-er. You don’t move until you’re sure the coast is
clear. It takes a while. Lose one of your actions this turn.
c. (5-6) There’s only one way out of this. You grab Leather Boy’s body in your arms and
hold it out in front of you as a shield. You charge towards and alleyway and the sniper
empties shot after shot into the body. You make it into the alleyway just as the sniper
trades his rifle in for a heavy machine gun and destroys the wall across from you. After a
minute he loses interests and begins to focus on something further down the street. You
dump Leather Boy’s body ignobly into the gutter where superheroes of his ilk belong
and disappear into the night seeking your next victim.

8. While your undead coworkers prowl the streets looking for a snack you sneak off into a
skyscraper. There’s a maintenance man on the third floor who you’ve kept tied to a chair for the
better part of a week. You’ve been cutting off bits and pieces of him (starting with his toes and
working your way up) and storing those little meaty bits in a freezer in the cafeteria. You help
yourself to a piece of his thigh before leaving to keep up the appearance of a starving ghoul to
the rest of your undead peers. Lower your hunger by one.

9. “At ease soldier,” you growl. The guard jabs at you with his mechanized fist. You feint to the
right and punch through his shield. You rip it away, hold it up for him to see, and toss it to the
side. He has time to let out a surprised yell before you rip his head off. You tear into the stump
of his neck and toss the head to the side. You don’t know what steroids this guy was taking but
you feel good. Really. Good. Every zombie hero on this tile may gain one trait card, lose one
hunger, heal one health and take one extra action this turn.

10. The specialist looks around him. There’s nowhere else to go. He stands his ground as you
approach, hands clenching and unclenching. You’re thinking that this is going to be easy when
the specialist suddenly reaches into his vest and pulls out a circular device with a glowing blue
light. He tosses it onto the ground and it goes off with an electronic buzz. “Calling
reinforcements,” he screams into his radio. Roll a die.
a. (1-2) You stomp down on the device but you’re too late. Pull a spawn card AND spawn
a specialist in your zone.
b. (3-4) You think quickly and kick the device. It launches into the air and lands in a
teammates’ square. You cringe. Whoops. Spawn a specialist in your zone. Pull a spawn
card for any other hero’s zone.
c. (5-6) The device disintegrates with a crunch beneath your heel. You turn with a look of
triumph toward the specialist but he’s gone.

11. You spot the orange glow of a burning building in the distant horizon. Your instincts kick in and
you rush towards it. There’s no one gathered outside to fight the flames. The fire department
responsible for this neighborhood were all eaten last week. You’re positive of this. You were
there. Somewhere in that towering inferno you hear a survivor’s cries. You kick in the door and
search for any survivors. You’re so hungry. Luckily you don’t have to worry about smoke
inhalation. The flames though…
a. (1-2) You rush inside but the flames are too strong. You leave the survivor to their fate.
Gain one hunger.
b. (3-4) The house is falling down around you. You ignore the flames and the smell of your
own rancid flesh burning in the fire. You successfully locate the survivor but they’re
dead. You were hoping for a warm meal but this will have to do. You hold their body out
to the flames and rip off a piece of the meat when it’s well done. Lose one hunger, lose
one health.
c. (5-6) Congratulations! You raced through the burning building, located the survivor, and
spirited them away outside all within a matter of minutes. The roof of the building
collapses just as you cross the threshold. The survivor thanks you for your bravery but
their fate falls once they realize your days of saving survivors from burning buildings
have come at a cost. You just wanted takeout. The survivor lets out one prolonged
scream before your teeth bite down into their throat. Set your hunger to “0”.

12. Nick Fury is a lot more cooperative now that he’s dead. He tells you about an experimental
S.H.I.E.L.D. device being deployed into the field. The weapon is called The Great Equalizer (“Not
our best name,” he admits) and can level the playing field in this war. All you have to do is
acquire it… Spawn a HERO. That hero has the T.G.E. Give them this card as a reminder. Once
that hero is defeated, take this card. You have successfully acquired the weapon. It has
enough battery life for one shot. It will eliminate ALL actors in that zone. They count towards
your XP. Discard this card once the weapon is used.

13. A vibrant blue portal blinks into existence before your eyes. You can make out the silhouette of
a man in armor and a blue visor standing amongst the swirling waves of energy. You’re
considering ripping off his helmet and beating his head into a gooey pulp with it when the
stranger holds out his hand and clenches it into a fist. “You’re crucial to my plans. You just don’t
know it yet. Go now. Devour. Usher in a new age. A new dynasty.” His hand unclenches and a
beam of energy sends you flying through the nearest window. You’re already on your feet
before the glass even hits the ground. What is this new power? You have one additional action
this turn and can move one additional zone per movement.
14. You and your teammates are minding your own business (eating the mayor) when a gigantic,
red-and-gold behemoth bursts through the wall and showers the room in debris. You recognize
the machine. It’s the Hulk Buster. You’re not sure who is operating it now but you plan to crack
open that suit and rip them screaming from the machine for interrupting your meal. The Hulk
Buster has Ten Health. Each teammate gets two attacks (5-6 game: Each player attacks once).
If the players fail to beat the Hulk Buster, they take three wounds (divvy up three hits wounds
amongst all players). If you defeat the Hulk Buster pull and Bystander card. One player may
make a free devour roll. If they succeed, they may claim that card and reset their hunger to
“0”, per usual. If you fail, the Bystander flees through the wall and into the night. Shuffle them
back into the deck. You’ll eat them later.

15. You’re not as fast as you used to be. Being dead has its benefits, of course. You don’t have to
worry about catching your breath when chasing after someone because… you know… you’re
dead and all… but there are other things you have to worry about. Like how your joints might
snap at any moment due to the rapid rate you’re decaying. You’re contemplating this very issue
as your going about your day when something in the sky catches your eye. It swoops up and
down through the sky. Is it a bird? You don’t think so. Too big for that. Then you recognize him.
It’s Angel. You wave your arms to get his attention. He lands in front of you. He looks
magnificent… and rotting. The feathers of his wings are mostly gone and he’s missing an arm. He
resembles more of a plucked bird than an Angel these days. He offers to give you a ride. You’re
not sure well those wings will handle two people anymore and there’s a good possibility you
two may crash into the glass side of a building but it beats walking. You may move to any
outside zone on the board.

16. Blood flows and bullets spray around you. You toss aside one S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. The screams he
makes as your comrades fall upon and devour him are almost pitiable. Almost. In the center of
all this madness is the Punisher. He's streaked with blood and sweat. He's shooting
indiscriminately. The madness has taken him over. You can relate. You understand madness...
and hunger. The hunger is all consuming. You're going to enjoy eating this one and you tell him
as much.
a. Attack the Punisher. He has 4HP. If you fail, take one wound and read the following:
The bullet catches you in the skull and your vision fills with red. You collapse into a pile
of knee-high corpses. The Punisher unleashes another volley of bullets but your corpse
pile catches the brunt of the assault. Satisfied that you are dead (well… completely
dead) he hurries off into the night. When you’re sure it’s safe you open your one
remaining eye. You touch what’s left of your skull. There’s a large hole where the top
half of your face used to be, but you think you’ll be fine.
b. If you pass, read the following: The Punisher looks at you, his eyes wide with terror. Is
this the first time he’s ever experienced it, you wonder. He raises his gun, and with a
guttural roar, fires a single round at you. You can feel the bullet slam into your chest, but
you don't pause. You lunge forward, and with a swift strike, tear the gun from his hands.
You look him in the eyes as you bare your teeth. You can see his terror, and you revel in
it. This is the moment you live for. You will make this one suffer, and you will enjoy
every second of it. You raise your arm and bring it down with a mighty force, ending the
Punisher's life in an instant. You can feel your hunger fading away as you savor the taste
of his blood. You turn away, eager to find your next meal.
17. "I'm too late," a grizzled looking man said. He looks like a war veteran... but not from this era. He
turns a glowing yellow eye to a smoking corpse and grimaces. You step out of the shadows and
point one decayed hand at the corpse. "I wasn't done with that," you tell him. He sighs and rolls
his good eye. He hoists a futuristic looking weapon in your direction. "Zombies," he mutters.
"Sure. Why not?" He takes aim and fires. The shot hits you square in the chest, and you feel the
energy of the blast course through your body. You stumble back, and he takes the opportunity
to run away. You watch him go, and then turn your attention back to the corpse. You can feel
the energy of the blast slowly fading away, and you know that you will soon be able to move
again. You smile, and then start to feast. Lower your Hunger by one.

18. The smugglers loaded their goods into the dingy, heads bent low against the pouring rain. The
docks, which were dangerous before the outbreak, had been abandoned by the police. It wasn't
worth risking your life for a few kilos or a crate of assault rifles. Especially with the dead roaming
about. The criminals were counting on this and short of one cop who was feeling adventurous,
they'd been left to carry out their business. You weren't the police though. You weren't even
alive. And gunfire? Just a minor irritation. You make yourself known by punching through the
nearest goon’s chest and ripping out his bleeding heart. You hold it up for the others to see
before taking a bite. The smugglers scream out in terror. A few jump into the dingy -- you make
short work of them. Others jump into the river. You leave them to the fishes. Literally. There are
undead fishes now. Satisfied that you took a bite out of crime (literally), you leave. Lower your
devour to "0"

19. Someone you ate isn’t agreeing with you. You clutch your stomach and steel yourself for the
inevitable. Roll a die.
a. (1-2) Your knees buckle and you drop to your knees. Black bile mixed with the remains
of your last victim surge out of your mouth with the strength of a firehose. A S.H.I.E.L.D.
agent caught in the spray is launched backwards through a brick wall. Gain one hunger.
Push enemies in your zone into an adjacent zone.
b. (3-4) Nothing happens. You thought for a second there that you were going to throw up
your lunch but the rumble in your stomach has subsided and things go back to normal…
well, as normal as things can go for an undead superhero. Time to find your next meal.
c. (5-6) You have an iron stomach. You never thought you’d actually be able to say this
about yourself but you’ve actually grown accustomed to eating people. It’s still gross,
mind you, but you can at least bear it now. Congratulations…?

20. You’re chasing a fleeing man down the street. You can feel the hunger building inside you. All
you need to do is hold on a little longer and then you'll be able to feed.
a. (1-2) You lose your quarry in the crisscrossing maze of alleyways. You kick a trash can in
anger and a cat scurries out. It hisses at you but you're too tired to chase after. You feel
like a complete failure... because you are, you loser. Gain one hunger.
b. (3/4) You're inches behind the man now. You reach out for him and YOINK! The man is
jerked upwards by undead Ghost Spider. Her laughter bleeds in with the man's screams.
All you can do is watch as this wannabe Spiderman runs off with your dinner. Your
stomach. Wait a minute... isn't Gwen Stacy dead in this timeline...? Gain one hunger
and just feel confused.
c. (5-6) You continue to chase after the man, your hunger growing with each step. You can
see him getting tired and you are getting closer. You reach out and grab him, holding
him in place. You feel the hunger in your veins and you know it is time to feed. You take
a deep breath and bite into his neck, letting the warm blood fill your mouth. As you
feed, the hunger fades away and you are left with a feeling of contentment. Lower
Hunger to "0".

21. You stumble upon a robbery in the Bloomingdales. One week ago, back when you were a
beacon of hope for this country, you would have captured the felon and called the police. Today
you’re just hungry. The man has cornered himself in a locked dressing room. You go into the
adjoining dressing room. The flimsy wooden partition is no match for you. You ball up a fist and
punch through the partition. Wood splinters and a man screams. Your fingers close over his oily
hair and pull him through the hole towards your grinning mouth. When you’re finished you pick
at your teeth with one of his fingerbones. You browse through his stolen goods. Were they
worth dying for? Lower your hunger to “0”.

22. As you walk into Battery Park, you can feel the rush of chaos all around you. People are running
in all directions, screaming and shouting, desperate to get away from something. You can smell
the fear in the air and it only serves to further enrage you. You look around for a civilian to eat,
but your eyes fall on Cyclops instead. His visor is trained right on you, and he warns you to stay
back. You feel your hunger for brains and flesh surging through you, and you can almost taste
the salty sweetness of a meal. You flex your hands and prepare to fight, or eat, whichever comes
first. Cyclops has 3HP.
a. If you succeed: You feel the heat of Cyclops' powerful visor on your skin as you move
with lightning speed, weaving around the lasers that he blasts in your direction. You
lunge forward and grab him around the waist, ripping into his abdomen with your razor
sharp claws. He screams out in agony, but you don't care. You dig into his entrails,
feasting on the warm, sweet meat. His screams become louder as he calls out for Jean,
but you don't want to hear it. You rip off his head to quiet him and throw it aside, a
gruesome trophy of your victory. Lower your hunger to “0”.
b. If you fail: You take a fighting stance, ready to take on Cyclops. He is not backing down
either, and you can feel his immense power emanating from his visor. You brace
yourself, but it is too late. He blasts you with a beam of energy that sends you hurtling
back into a tree. You snarl in pain and anger, and you know that you don't have much
time before he finishes you off. You take off, running as fast as your legs can carry you.
You can feel his energy beam grazing your back, but you manage to make it out in one
piece. You won't make the same mistake again. Take one wound.

23. You feel the wind on your face as you sprint through the alleyways. Your undead body is strong
and fast, but the six S.H.I.E.L.D. specialists behind you are faster. You twist around one corner,
then another, and another, but you can still hear them following you. You keep running,
determined to lose them. Suddenly, you spot an opening in the back alley and you quickly dive
into it. You can hear them still following you, but you can't be sure if you managed to lose them.
You keep running, until you have no more energy left. You stop, panting, and wait in the
darkness of the alley. You can still hear them in the distance, but you can't be sure if they're still
chasing you. Roll a die six times. For every 1-3 you roll spawn a specialist in your zone.

24. As you enter the smelting factory, a wave of scorching heat hits you. The walls are made of thick
red bricks and the floors are covered in a layer of soot. The giant furnaces roar around you,
spewing out smoke and sparks. Sparks rain down from the machines overhead, and the air
smells of iron and sulfur. It's dark in here, and you can barely make out the piles of scrap metal
and machinery. You hear the clanking of metal and the whirring of machines, but they can't
drown out the growl in your stomach. You know you're close to your prey, but you're still
hungry. You can almost taste her brains, and the thought makes your mouth water. The
explosion throws you off your feet and you hit the ground hard. The force of the blast sends
sparks and metal shards flying in all directions. You can feel the heat scorch your skin and you
can smell the scent of burning metal. You get up quickly, but you can't find Squirrel Girl. You
look around desperately, but she's nowhere to be seen. Increase your hunger.

25. You’re about to board a jumbo jet when the plane explodes in a fiery blast. You clench your fists.
All those people… gone. Unbelievable. If you’d rounded them up and kept them somewhere
safe, they could’ve kept you fed for months. Your stomach churns with rage as you see the
mastermind of the explosion hovering above you. He looks down upon you with a smug
expression on his face, knowing he's outsmarted you. He cackles madly, reveling in his victory.
You can feel your strength rising as the flames of the furnace lick at your skin. You know you
must act quickly. You let out a fierce roar and fly towards M.O.D.O.K., determined to take him
down. You can feel the power of M.O.D.O.K.'s mind control coursing through your veins, but you
resist. You focus all of your energy on breaking free and use your superhuman strength to rip his
chair apart. He falls to the ground with a thud, and you can see the terror in his eyes. He tries to
crawl away, but his huge head is like a lead weight, preventing him from escaping. You take a
deep breath and use all of your strength to rip the steel helmet off his head, revealing his pale
face. You can see the fear in his eyes as you open your mouth, ready to sink your teeth into his
skull. You feel a strange sense of satisfaction as you bite into his flesh and start to chew your
way to the gooey center of his brain. With each bite, you can feel his power slipping away. You
chew until there's nothing left, feeling a deep sense of satisfaction as you finally finish what you
started. Lower your hunger to “0”.

26. You race up a stairwell to the sounds of gunfire. You kick the door open and send a zombified
civilian staggering into a hail of bullets. The zombie collapses into a heap on the floor. The
soldier, legs apart in a shooter’s stance, stands in the middle of the skyway and takes aim at you.
You weave through his shots and take care of him with little trouble. You stand over him, the
hunger coursing through your veins. He begs for his life. You promise not to kill him if he tells
you where S.H.I.E.L.D. is taking the people they've rescued. He agrees to your deal. When he’s
finished you reach down in one swift movement and throw the soldier through the window. His
body shatters the glass and topples over the side with a strangled scream that’s soon cut off by a
faint thud. You take the information he gave you and set off in pursuit. Gain two experience
points.

27. You watch as a man who looks remarkably like Captain America rushes to the defense of a group
of civilians. He wields a shield and takes out the zombie hoard with remarkable ease, but you
aren't fooled. You know this man is a fraud, and you can't help but smirk as he takes the glory
for work he didn't do. You call out the fraud for who he is and tell him that you know Captain
America is dead. His face contorts in anger, and he readies himself for a fight. He calls himself a
patriot and stands tall, ready to take you on. You can't help but roll your eyes at his arrogance
and this results in one of your eyeballs to spill out of it's eye socket. You stuff it back inside your
maggot infested socket and prepare yourself to take him on. He throws the shield at you. Roll a
die.
A. (1-2) The shield takes your arm off at the elbow. Time to retreat. You flee into the
shadows, severed arm dangling from your one good hand. Lose one HP.
B. (3-4) You dodge the shield he throws at you and rush towards him. As the shield
comes flying back, you lunge at him and wrestle for control. You show no mercy and
bite his earlobe off, making him scream in pain. With newfound strength, you
wrestle the shield away from him. You raise this symbol of freedom high above your
head and bring it down hard on his face. You swing it again and again, pummelling
him mercilessly. You hear his bones cracking with each blow, until his faceis nothing
more than a bloody mess. Then you feed. Gain one XP. Lose one hunger
C. (5-6) . You feel the weight of the shield in your hands as you hurl it back at Patriot.
You watch as it passes through his throat with ease, slicing through him like a hot
knife through butter. His head rolls off his shoulders and thuds onto the ground. His
lifeless body lies there beside it. Then you feed. Gain 3XP.

28. S.H.I.E.L.D. is amassing its troops against you! You have the advantage of knowing where they're
coming from, so you need to make the most of it. Time to take a stand and show them what
you're made of! Or what's left of you anyway… you’ve seen better days… Draw 2x spawn cards
for the first spawn point this turn

32. Feeling the streetlight cast an eerie light on your pale skin, you wander down the deserted city
street in search of your next meal. Deathly silent save for your shambling footsteps, the
cobblestones soon give way to asphalt as you near the silhouette of an alleyway. As you pass the
entrance, your senses detect something strange - the waft of fresh gun oil and a hint of fear in
the air. But before you can react, a harsh light cast its glare in your face, halting your
movements mid-stride. Startled, you look up to discover a squadron of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, each
armed to the teeth with the most cutting-edge weaponry. You raise your hands in surrender,
feeling the tactical balaclava-clad faces of the agents glare at you with contempt. One of the
agents steps forward, barring your way with a raised assault rifle. Ambush! Draw a spawn card
for your zone.

armed to the teeth with the most cutting edge weaponry. You raise your hands in surrender,
feeling the tactical balaclava-clad faces of the agents glare at you with contempt. One of the
agents steps forward, barring your way with a raised assault rifle. Ambush! Draw a spawn card
for your zone.

36. Reed Richard's lab is filled with incredible and cutting-edge technology. Everything from
hologram projectors to electronic microscopes are present. Despite all the incredible tech, most
of it is either broken or in disrepair. While some of the old equipment is beyond repair, some of
newer tech has been left untended and is in a state of disarray. The lab is cluttered with pieces
of electronics, tools and notes spread about, giving it a chaotic and disorganized atmosphere.
The walls are peeling, the floor is covered in grease and dirt, and the lab's ceiling is littered with
exposed wires and broken piping. You discover a thin rectangular prism, made of an unknown
metallic material and adorned with intricate symbols. Upon touching the item, it latches onto
you and wraps around your body like a second skin or armor. It glows with a bright and
shimmering light, filling you with a sense of power. Upon closer inspection, the odd device
reveals its true nature — a powerful source of energy that can be tapped into and used to
manipulate the world around it. Keep this card. You get one extra HP and may re-roll one die
per round.

37. You’ve made your way to the train station. Inside you find a hastily put together base of
operations. An agent notices you and sounds an alarm. The station goes black, the darkness
pierced by momentary shafts of swirling red lights from the alarm. Agents rush to meet you,
stun buttons swinging. You fell wave after wave. You’re nearly down to the last man when the
wall behind you explodes and showers the area with bricks and mortar. You turn as the sound of
a wall caving in echoes behind you. A large behemoth stands silhouetted against the daylight.
It's Abomination, foam dripping from his mouth and rage in his eyes. He moves with a speed you
didn't think possible - tearing the agents apart. He lifts one up and bites his head off as if it were
the top of a popsicle. You realize what's going on and call out a warning - you try to calm him.
“There’s enough food for the both of us,” you tell him but your words do not have the desired
effect. Abomination lunges towards you, full of hunger and rage. Nowhere to go, you prepare
for battle. Team Battle: Abomination has 10 HP. Each hero takes a turn to attack him. Damage
is cumulative. If you fail, distribute five damage amongst the team.

38. You take a step into Hank Pym’s lab and you can't believe your eyes. Everywhere you look there
are gadgets and gizmos of all shapes and sizes. But you don't have time to marvel at the
wonders of technology for long. You have come for a purpose—to find Hank's notes on the
zombie virus. You quickly scan the lab, your eyes widening as you take in all the fascinating
equipment. Finally, you spot the notes. Sitting atop a desk, the documents seem to glow in the
artificial light. You take a deep breath and move forward to take a closer look. Your heart races
as you read through the notes. Every page contains more information than you had ever hoped
for. The details are clear and concise, outlining exactly how to control your unquenchable need
for human flesh. As you read, you can feel your pulse quicken. Could it really be possible? Could
you really gain control over your hunger? You finish reading and take a deep breath. You can
feel the possibilities swirling around you. You're Hunger limit is now Five. Set this card aside as a
reminder.

39. You stride into the COMICON, feeling a sense of wonderment as you take in all the incredible
costumes. People are dressed up as their favorite comic book heroes, seemingly unaware of the
chaos outside. As you make your way through the crowd, many of them remark that your outfit
"is really cool." You look down at your gore-stained apparel and decaying hands and nod your
head in agreement. Not long ago you would have been giving these nerds signed autographs.
Now you're here to tear them apart. You stalk through the crowd, eyes narrowed in search of
your next victim. You snatch someone dressed as Kitty Pride and rip into her throat. She goes
limp against you as you feast on her blood. The crowd surges in horror, but you pay them no
mind. It's dinner time. Gain two experience and lower your hunger by one.

You can't help but roll your eyes at his arrogance
and this results in one of your eyeballs to spill out of its eye socket. You stuff it back inside your
maggot infested socket and prepare yourself to take him on. He throws the shield at you. Roll a
die.
 (1-2) The shield takes your arm off at the elbow. Time to retreat. You flee into the
shadows, severed arm dangling from your one good hand. Lose one HP.
 (3-4) You dodge the shield he throws at you and rush towards him. As the shield
comes flying back, you lunge at him and wrestle for control. You show no mercy and
bite his earlobe off, making him scream in pain. With newfound strength, you
wrestle the shield away from him. You raise this symbol of freedom high above your
head and bring it down hard on his face. You swing it again and again, pummeling
him mercilessly. You hear his bones cracking with each blow, until his faceis nothing
more than a bloody mess. Then you feed. Gain one XP. Lose one hunger
Gain 3XP.
