BANANA PEELING

Banana peelings are a biodegradable waste that can be seen anywhere. Usually in households or

small businesses. It has been shown that banana peel (Musa sapientum) contains many nutrients

and minerals [18]. They found crude proteins in the amount of 1.95 ± 0.14%, crude fat 5.93 ±

0.13%, and 11.82 ± 2.17% carbohydrate in the banana peel. The mineral composition of banana

peel was phosphorus, iron, calcium, magnesium, and sodium.

EGGSHELLS

Eggs are an all-rounder and an easy-to-cook food. It's very common here in the Philippines for

breakfast. Eggs are what we eat, and eggshells are the ones that protect the egg inside. Eggs are

naturally rich in vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B12, vitamin D, selenium and iodine.

average eggshell contains about .3% phosphorus and .3% magnesium and traces of sodium,

potassium zinc, manganese, iron and copper.

PAPER
Paper is everywhere. It's one of the problems when we're talking about waste. Therefore, this

study investigates the use of used paper as reusable cardboard to help society. Over the centuries,

paper has been made from a wide variety of materials such as cotton, wheat straw, sugar cane

waste, flax, bamboo, wood, linen rags, and hemp. Regardless of the source, you need fiber to

make paper. Today fiber comes mainly from two sources — wood and recycled paper products.
