TOURISM SKILLS ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM AND WORKSHOP


Theme: “Acquiring Excellence & Embracing Development in the Field of Tourism”

The Need
The overall goal of this Enhancement Program and Workshop aims to enhance, develop and
celebrate each other's skills and talents despite this time of the pandemic. Personal attributes play
a great factor in the Hospitality and Tourism industry. Developing skills takes processes in
harnessing one’s capability and self-esteem. As the Travelers’ Society envisions the students to be
academically innovative and universally competent, we have prepared a virtual event called
Tourism Skills Enhancement Program and Workshop. This event will serve as an essential tool
in shaping the mind, the heart and the talent of the students in their preparation in the field of
Tourism.

The Collaborators and Beneficiaries

The event will be spearheaded by the Travelers’ Society. It will be open to all BS Tourism
Management students who are currently enrolled this semester for free.

The Description of the Activity

The activity will be the highlight event of Travelers’ Society this Semester. This event will
be held virtually via Zoom/Google Meet on April 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM. The Travelers’ Society
has been doing various workshops and trainings during the last years to fully enhance, improve
and develop the skills of our students to seek potential participants that will be sent to competitions
out of the school.

Moreover, the specific area and topic of the workshop will be Tour Package and Flight
Attendant Showmanship. We will be inviting one (1) resource speaker for each topic who will
voluntarily provide their time and services for free.

The Monitoring and Evaluation

• Prior to the event there will be a registration through Google Forms to monitor the number of
participants.

• After, evaluation forms will be distributed to all the attendees to measure the effectiveness of the
event.
