I. Introduction
Add by counting
The students will count the numbers of objects, write the numbers and find the
sum.
II. Lesson Proper
Discuss:
Addition is a process of combining two or more numbers.

Example:
Carla has 3 yellow and 2 red pencils, how many pencils does she have?

D. Generalization
Ask the students how addition could be helpful to their daily lives.

E. Application
The teacher will post a flashcard about addition, then the learners will count and
add the numbers.

F. Evaluation
In your notebook copy the following questions and solve the correct answers.
