Lesson Plan Format
The teacher shows pictures and asks some easy questions about it (example: what do you
see?) and students give short answers.
The teacher introduces a new word, showing a picture and asking key questions T–S–T
like “where are they?” encouraging students to choose the best option.
ACTIVITIES INTERACTION
The teacher continues introducing vocabulary by asking questions like “do you know T–S–T
them?”, “what can you see in the picture?” and “where are they?” Students answer and
volunteers (or victims) choose the correct option to complete every sentence.
Then, the teacher changes the exercise (for the 3 last words) and students this time
work on definitions. A student reads the vocabulary and definitions. Easy words go first S
so students can start confidently.
Students play a game on kahoot, where they work on definitions about the vocabulary.
Students have 20 seconds per question and the fastest are the winners. S
Students work on activity B where they have to write about people, they know
describing the relationship that he or she has with them using the prompt. T–S
Prompt:
The teacher asks students for explaining the activity to check if they understood. S–S
Volunteers share their answers with the hole class.
Students work in pairs, (breakout rooms) share their answers and the teacher monitors S–S
the activity.
C: MATERIAL
The teacher could not have volunteers – The teacher chooses students before working on
the exercise.
