Abstract:

The effectiveness of the teachers should be continuously assessed and they must

deal with all the changes effectively to redefine the capabilities of teachers in order to

prepare them for all changes. Teacher competence is one of the most important factors

in influencing students' performance. The researcher used the RPMS-PPST, to assess

the teachers’ performance throughout the school year to enhance the teacher’s core

behavioral competencies in order to recognize and evaluate their skills and abilities. The

study, evaluated the demographic profile as well as the behavioral competency of the

selected teacher from the small schools of Public Elementary School in Pili East District,

Schools Division of Camarines Sur. The findings reveal that the behavioral competencies

of the teachers are evident to fulfill their duty and accomplish in their work at school.

Furthermore, the profile of the teachers and the behavioral competence of the teachers

have a significant relationship. When the teacher (may mga achievements/training na

naattendan) they have a high behavioral competence. Ensuring the teachers in their

future endeavors in the workplace the researcher development plan design for teachers

was implemented to continually improve the teachers behavioral competencies.
