Fire Safety

The first step is to look at what materials are present in the area to be protected from fire. These can
be divided into four main categories of fire involving different substances:

Multipurpose Extinguishers: An extinguisher with an ABC rating is suitable for use with fires
involving ordinary combustibles, flammable liquids and energized electrical equipment.
