communicative boundaries.

In fact, this Communicative English program is aimed at designing a curriculum

proposal for students at Casita Azul Nuestra señora del Pilar School, which is a
Catholic school that has preschool, primary and secondary located in Altagracia,
Managua. In addition, we decided to create this, for helping this school´s students
to achieve their goal (A2 level according to the CEFR scale); based on the
adaptation of the didactic materials such as the compendium that the institute
currently has. this proposal curriculum, by following specific methodology, to
provide important tools to students and teachers that innovative and intended to
have a positive social and economic impact on the school to build better literate
professionals.

General Data

This course – is elaborated by Wilmer Rugáma & María Lacayo- we want to call it
as “Fresh English to Young Students” because it is created based on Casita Azul
Nuestra Señora del Pilar school’s young students (secondary students) learning
process perspective, but also on the course goal which is achieve A2 level.

On the other hand, to create a creative and interactional course where students
learn how to build their knowledge –while achieving A2 level- we want them to use
an adapted compendium, different from the one they have used in the last 6 years,
is what this course is all about. Also, to help the students achieve that level, we
want the course to be a 90 hrs one, where this is divided into 2 parts (A1.a and
A1.b). These two parts are 45 hrs each.
