final arrangement enough free space around the
superstructure of the bridge remains available for
inspections and repairs.

c) Cost of required extension of the substructure as


well as that of the supporting superstructure shall be

borne by the agency incharge of the utilities.

d) Services are not being allowed indiscriminately on


the parpet/ any part of the bridges. Safety of the
bridges has to be kept in view while permitting
various services along the bridge. Approvals are to NA
be accorded in this regard with the cncurrence of the
Ministry's project chief engineers only.

2.4 Methodology for laying of overhead electrical line

7.2 Certifiacte from PD in the following format


(a) "it is cerified that any other locaton of the Electric
Cable would be ectremely difficult and unreasonable
costly and the installation of electric cable within
ROS will not adversely affect the design, stability &
traffic safety of the highway nor the likely future
improvement such as widening of the carriage way,
easing of curve etc., Certificate of P.D is enclosed
(b) For 6-lanning
(i) Where feasibility is available " I do certify that
there will be no hindrance to proposed structure as
the said location
(ii) In case feasibility report is not available " I do
cerify that suffient ROW is available at site for
