About the Program

The Fashion Business Seminar is an annual program hosted by the Fashion Business
Department of LaSalle College Jakarta, where we invite industry experts, professionals,
entrepreneurs, and key opinion leaders to share their journey in achieving success in the
fashion industry.

The program aims to offer a platform for combining creativity and business skills in the ever-
changing industry of fashion. Through this, students will gain a greater understanding of
what it takes to build a successful fashion enterprise that creates positive impact in the
future.

We sincerely hope The Fashion Business Seminar will bring forth many promising young
entrepreneurs that will push the local fashion industry reach its full potential.

The fashion industry is a sector that poses numerous of barriers that can be challenging for
newcomers. Financial limitation, fierce competition, limited resources, and pressing
concerns related to societal and environmental issues can be really challenging for young
entrepreneurs.

The central theme of this seminar is the art and science of entering the fashion industry. In
this session, speakers will share valuable insights on how to build and maintain a successful
fashion brand, how to understand the nature of the current market, and finding ways to
overcome barriers and challenges in the industry.
