Q1.

Based on the text above, define the following concepts:

a. Geometry
Geometry is a topic in mathematics concerned with properties of space such as
the distance, shape, size, and relative position of figures. Geometry scopes
were devided into as Euclidean and non-Euclidean geometry.
b. Euclidean Geometry
Euclidean geometry includes the notions of point, line, plane, distance, angle,
surface, and curve, as fundamental concepts.
c. Non-Euclidean Geometry
Non-Euclidean geometry is appeared that geometries without the parallel
postulate and can be developed without introducing any contradiction. The
geometry that underlies general relativity is a famous application of non-
Euclidean geometry.
d. Euclidean Spaces
Euclidean spaces which originally referred to the three-dimensional space of
the physical world and its model provided by Euclidean geometry.
e. Space
Meaning of space is a mathematical structure on which some geometry is defined.

Q2. Gives two examples of important concepts in geometry which are included
in :
1. Line
a. Definition
A line is a figure formed when two points are connected with
minimum distance between them, and both the ends extended to
infinity.
b. Axioms
According to the axioms of Euclidean Plane Geometry, a straight line
may be drawn between any two points.
c. Theorem
If two angles of a triangle are congruent, then the sides opposite
those angles are congruent.
d. Corollary
If a triangel is equilateral, then the triangel is equilateral
e. Objects
A corner is a point or an area where two or more edges, sides, or
surfaces of something join.
1. Angel
a. Definition
An angle is a combination of two rays (half-lines) with a common endpoint.
b. Axioms
According to the axioms of Euclidean Plane Geometry, all right
angles are equal.
c. Theorem
If two sides of a triangle are congruent, then the angles opposite
those sides are congruent
d. Corollary
If a triangel is equiangular, then the triangel is equianguler.

e. Objects
a combination of two rays (half-lines) with a common endpoint.

Q3. Choose one object in geometry, then create a paragraph that tells a description
of the elements and properties of the choosen geometric object.
Cuboid

A cuboid, also known as a rectangular prism, is a three-dimensional geometric object

that has six rectangular faces. It is a highly versatile shape, frequently encountered in
everyday life and used in various fields, including architecture, engineering, and
manufacturing. Its defining characteristic is that all of its angles are right angles, and
each face is a rectangle. The cuboid can be described as a solid with three pairs of
congruent and parallel faces. Its six faces consist of three pairs of identical rectangles.
These pairs are called opposite faces since they are situated directly across from each
other. The dimensions of a cuboid are typically referred to as its length, width, and
height. The length is the measurement of the longer sides, the width represents the
shorter sides, and the height is the distance between the parallel faces. One notable
property of the cuboid is its volume.
