SUB: - 4th HAWKEYE SPORTS ACADEMY OPEN SHOOTING COMPETITION &

CHAMPIONSHIP -2023

Dear Sir,

We are pleased to announce 4th Hawkeye Sports Academy OPEN SHOOTING

COMPETITION & CHAMPIONSHIP -2023 at Hawkeye Sports Academy, Sports Base, opposite
to St Xavier’s School, Bettadasanapura Main Road, Electronic City phase 1, Bangalore-560100.
Starting from 23rd May to 28th May 2023 with a view to promote Sports Shooting Game in the
Karnataka State.

As per the program attached, Shooters from your Association/Unit/Club/Institutes are

invited to participate in this open Shooting Competition.

Competitors who want to participate in the competition are requested to go through the
following instructions carefully for their own convenience and to ensure smooth and successful
conduct of the above competitions.

A. MATCHES:-

1. The competition will be conducted according to ISSF & NRAI rules and regulations.
2. Shooters who have participated in National/International Shooting Competitions are not
eligible to participate in NR Events Matches and Fresh shooters (N.R) are allowed to
participate in NR Rules matches.
3. Finals will be conducted only In ISSF 10m Air Rifle Peep Sight M/W & ISSF Air Pistol M
& W Events
4. The competition will have individual and team events both. Teams can be formed by the
shooters of the same Association/Unit only in all Youth, juniors and seniors categories. Final
entry of three members of the team must be submitted latest by the previous day of the start
of the match. Unlimited no. of team entries will be allowed in each Team event.
5. Shooters taking part in Rifle events are allowed to take part in Pistol events or vice versa.
6. Top 3 Open Sight Shooters M&W will be awarded Cash prize.
7. FOR CHAMPION OF CHAMPION COMPETITION, TOP 3 SHOOTERS WILL BE AWARDED
 WITH CASH PRIZE +TROPHY.
8. For Champion of Champion events top 8 shooters will be selected from qualification rounds
including men and women .
9. Only individual medals will be considered for the Overall championship trophy.
10. Overall championship trophy points will be counted from Air Pistol and Peep Sight Sir
Rifle individual and Team matches. The POINT System is as follows.

GOLD MEDAL 3 Points

SILVER MEDAL 2 Points

BRONZE MEDAL 1 Points

B. ELIGIBILITY OF JUNIORS & YOUTH:-

1. Those who are below 21 years/18 years/16 years/Under 14 years of age as on 29th
MAY-2023 will be considered as Juniors/Youth/Sub Youth/Under 14 respectively for the
championship
2. All competitors entering for Junior/Youth & Sub Youth events must attach an attested
copy of a certificate of their age proof with their entry forms failing which their
applications are liable for rejection.
3. YOUTH SHOOTERS ARE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN JUNIOR AND SENIORS
CATEGORY SIMULTANEOUSLY. JUNIORS CAN PARTICIPATE IN SENIOR CATEGORY.
ISSF/NR matches with extra entry fee.

C. ENTRY FORM/ FEE:-

1. Entry Forms can be downloaded from Hawkeye Sports Academy

website.(www.hawkeyerifleshooting.com) The entries will be accepted through
respective Association/Units only. The entry fee should be remitted by Cash/ Bank
draft in favor of Hawkeye Sports Academy, only, Kindly note that cheques will not be
accepted.
2. The entry forms duly completed along with entry fee should be delivered to
Hawkeye office on or before 20th-May- 2023 . Late entries with three time’s
normal entry fee will be accepted after 23rd-May-2023 5:00pm. Entry fee is neither
refundable nor adjustable or transferable from one match to another.
3. Protest fee is Rs.500/- and in case an appeal is filed with the Jury of Appeal, then the
fee is Rs. 1500/-. The fee will be returned if the protest is upheld and retained by
Hawkeye if the protest is lost.
D. PARTICIPATION:-
1. Only 3 Shooters are allowed to use common weapons.
2. No weapons will be provided to the competitors by Hawkeye (Except Schools &
Colleges). Pellets will be made available against payment.
3. All affiliated Associations/ Clubs/ Units forwarding the Entry Forms of their members
are requested to see that their membership fee is paid up to date. Their Entry Forms
will be entertained only after their arrears, if any, are cleared.
4. In extraordinary circumstances, the Organizing Secretary may grant permission for
use of a common weapon. The names of shooters likely to use common weapon
should be advised together with the weapon number to the Organizing Secretary in
advance to enable him to work out details for conduct of relevant matches

E. GENERAL:-

1. All participants are requested to go through the above instructions carefully and
ensure strict compliance.
2. All participants are expected to obey the rules and regulations for the competition,
with strict discipline on and off the shooting range. .
3. In case of non-participation by the competitors after submission of their entries will
not be allowed any refund of the Entry Fee.
4. All the Matches will be conducted with the proper equipment and dress code in
accordance with ISSF Rules and regulations, so shooters are requested to read ISSF
rules regulations and dress code at ISSF rules.
5. The Organizers will have the right to close any match or event in case of any
emergency or otherwise without assigning any reason for such an action on
their part. If the match is canceled by the organizer the entry amount will be
refunded to shooters.
6. ISSF & NR Matches will be conducted in the SIUS Target System. SHOOTERS
who score above 325 in pistol and 350 in Peep sight rifle are only allowed to
do in Electronic target else paper target can be given, in case any shooter hits
randomly in TEMPLET, he/she will be shifted to paper target.

F Individual and Team medals will be awarded as under:-

I 3 medals where there is a minimum of 4 entries

II 2 medals where there is a minimum of 3 entries
III 1 medals where there is a minimum of 2 entries
IV No medal in case there is a singly entry
